Walking is such a simple but lovely thing to do for your wellness. It’s also such a nice way to meet other women locally and have a little chit chat along the way💚

We’ll be walking from the unit into Waddington, where we could stop for a break/drink, and head back to pick up the goodie bags 🤩

We had such a wonderful time welcoming the Mayors across Lancashire to KUSHBOO HQ💛

It’s always a pleasure to showcase what we do here in the Ribble Valley alongside so many amazing local businesses.

Thank you to Ribble Valley Borough Council for including us in such a special day ✨

It's come straight from the horse's mouth.

Mayors from across Lancashire were invited to take part in a tour of Ribble Valley - and saw some of the best of what our area has to offer.

Host and Ribble Valley Mayor Councillor Simon O'Rourke described the day as "one of the best" of his year in office and a trip to Thwaites Brewery at Mellor Brook was the perfect start to a fantastic occasion.

The Civic guests visited the brewery's stables where they met Thwaites’ famous shire horses Thunder, Duke, Drummer and Regal met some of the horses used in promotional events to draw the brewery's wagons, as well as learning more about the beer brewing process.

The day also included visits to Backridge Farm, Waddington for tours of Pendle Witch Distillery, Melt Candles, Kushboo Soaps and North West Jewellery School before moving on to enjoy a walk around Downham Hall gardens and nearby St Leonard's Church.

Every year, each mayor from Lancashire’s boroughs hosts a tour in their specific area. The tours are designed to showcase the best of each borough and highlight independent businesses and individuals that make the county shine.
