There were times I didn't know who the 'real' me was...
But it doesn't have to be like this, you don't have to be alone in it.
For me, I felt trapped in the identity of - teacher/ infertility/ 'good girl'/ hard worker...and after trying for a long time to get pregnant, I was exhausted, and wasn't really connected at all.
Going through the motions of life, bone tired. My usual busy mind reached the point where it just didn't have the energy to process much, so I withdrew, and closed myself off bit by bit.
Thankfully, I started to discover tools and techniques to help me feel calmer, I then found my support network, found my strength within, and found a community who gets it. And so can you.
It's what I do now - bring in everything I have learnt in supporting myself, my training, my lived experience, my observations of the transformation and healing it brings others, to help people to reconnect back with themselves and find within what they need in that moment.
And in all honesty...I'm still learning to love my body and appreciate it for everything it has done and gone through....that is a working progress. But 'Becky' is emerging stronger than ever, braver than ever, more proud of herself than ever before.
The fertility journey can kick us... hard....I get it.
