Heart centred parenting is not always pleasing to the eye. It can be loud, volatile, quiet, dull, very uninteresting for the viewers. Curating our whole lives around the beauty standards of the insta algorithm inturrupts family connection and growth time.
Sure, take the photo. Don’t curate the whole day on content. And… have you tried a woodland walk without your phone?? Next level.

How often do we need to step back and actually consider what the child in front of us needs rather than what our expectations were?

How much inner work we do is our creation. Being present and connected can feel further away at times but if we see every new moment as an opportunity we are never behind or not doing enough.
