💛 If you’ve ever wondered why you feel things so deeply -> this one is for you.

You notice subtle changes. You think carefully about your words. You feel moved by moments others pass by.

Being a deep feeler isn’t about being “too sensitive.” It’s about having a rich inner world and real awareness of emotions, yours and everyone else’s.

Your sensitivity isn’t something to erase. It’s something to understand and work with. 💛

💬 Which slide hit closest to home? Save this for the moments you feel like you’re “too much.”

Birth Trauma Awareness Week
Just a reminder that you don’t have to choose between loving your baby and wishing things had gone differently. Both can be true at the same time.
I know how much energy it takes to hold it all together while carrying those memories. Please be kind to yourself today. There’s no timeline for this, and there’s no “right” way to feel.
Sending love to anyone else who knows this heavy feeling. 🫶🏼

A little glimpse into my brain🧠:

“My perfectionist side says this word isn’t quite right… let’s rethink it 48 more times.” 😂

The therapist in me knows perfection isn’t the goal.
The human in me is still practicing letting “good enough” be enough… and offering myself the same compassion I encourage my clients to have. 🫶🏼

A short walk with my dog. Sunshine through the trees. A quiet moment to look up at the beautiful blue sky today. 💙

Feeling grateful for this little pocket of calm today.

I hope you’ve found a moment of calm too. 🌿

Men’s Health Week

A gentle reminder that you don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming before reaching out for support.

Many men grow up with messages about being strong, coping alone or keeping difficult feelings to themselves. But mental health challenges can affect anyone and talking about what’s going on can feel uncomfortable at first.

Whether you’re feeling stressed, stuck, anxious, low or simply carrying more than usual, you don’t have to navigate it all on your own.

This Men’s Health Week, take a moment to check in with yourself and the men in your life. Sometimes a simple conversation can make all the difference.

💬 Conversation matters

Men’s Health Week 💚
Myths vs facts about men’s mental health

Not every struggle is visible.
And not every silence means nothing is wrong.

Talking isn’t always easy and not everyone has had space to do it safely.

But that can change.
One conversation. One check-in. One person who listens properly.

Small conversations can change everything.

🌿 Saturday Reminder

You don’t have to spend your weekend catching up on everything you didn’t get done this week.
You don’t have to earn your rest.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is slow down, take a breath and give yourself permission to simply be.
Take care of yourself today in whatever way feels possible.

What is one small act of kindness you can offer yourself this weekend? 💚

Thoughtful Thursday 🌿

Some people come to counselling with clear goals and others simply knowing they want something to feel different.

There is no “right” way to begin.

You do not need to have the “right words”, a perfect plan or everything figured out before you start.

Sometimes, you simply arrive as you are and that is enough.

As a person-centred counsellor, my role is not to tell you what to do. You are the expert in your own life. I am here to listen without judgment, understand and walk alongside you as things start to make sense.

A gentle reminder:

You do not have to carry it all alone.
You do not have to have all the answers yet.

💭 What if being heard is the first step towards clarity?

04/06/2026

Something I often notice in my work is how we can be far harder on ourselves than we realise, and I often wish people would ask themselves this:

If I treated myself with the same kindness I show other people… what would I notice?

There is no right or wrong answer, just whatever comes up for you. 💭

Being self-aware doesn’t always mean knowing how to break the cycle.

Many people understand where their anxiety, burnout, attachment wounds or emotional reactions come from and still find themselves struggling with them.

Insight alone doesn’t automatically change nervous system patterns, habits or coping responses built over time.

Awareness is often the first step toward change.
