Day 4.... we are not in the practice now until Monday, the floor has been screeded and the flooring is being laid today, exciting times 👀.

We are excited to announce that we are having a refit this month!! The transformation is going to be amazing and very chic 🤓😎🤯

🌄🌞THE SUN IS GETTING HIS HAT ON 🌞🌤

The damage caused by the UV rays from the sun to your eyes is very similar to sunburn on your skin. The damage caused to your eyes may be done without you realising it.

This is why we always advise sunglasses and UV protection and what better way than polarised lenses.

The greatest benefit of polarised lenses is the clarity of vision outdoors, enhanced contrast and they filter out glare.

So if you love the outdoors, they won't help to improve your handicap at golf or make you a better fisherman, but they help you see better to improve your natural abilities.

We’re delighted to introduce Naila Benton, our new Resident Optometrist here at Michael Harris Opticians!

Hi everyone! 👋
I’m Naila Benton, and I’m so excited to introduce myself as the new Resident Optometrist at Michael Harris Opticians.
I’m a friendly and kind person who genuinely loves getting to know my patients. I believe eye care should feel personal and comfortable, so I always aim to create a relaxed environment where you feel listened to and truly cared for. Your wellbeing will always come first with me.
Professionally, I hold Post Cataract Accreditation and Myopia Management Accreditation, which means I’m able to provide specialist care and tailored support for a wide range of visual needs.
Outside of work, I’m a big fan of horror films (the scarier the better!), I absolutely love The Lord of the Rings, and I enjoy getting stuck into a good book. I’m also a proud owner of three cats, a huge foodie, and I do enjoy a cheeky gin and tonic from time to time!
I’m really looking forward to meeting you all and becoming part of the community — please do say hello when you’re in practice 😊
