❤️ Know Your Numbers! Week

High blood pressure rarely has any symptoms, but it can increase your risk of heart attack, stroke, kidney disease and other serious health conditions.

That's why knowing your blood pressure numbers is so important.

During Know Your Numbers! Week, take a few minutes to check your blood pressure. Home blood pressure monitors, community pharmacies and NHS services can all help you understand your readings and what they mean for your health. Blood Pressure UK recommends that adults aged 40 and over check their blood pressure regularly.

We're delighted to announce that the building improvement project at Langley Corner Surgery has now been completed and our new facilities are already in use.

We now have:
- Three new clinical rooms
- Two enlarged consultation rooms
- New patient toilet facilities
- Energy-efficient building improvements

The additional space is helping us increase our capacity and explore opportunities to offer more services and clinics for patients in the future.

We're also continuing to invest in the practice, with work now underway on our upstairs space to create additional areas for staff training, meetings and collaborative working with local healthcare partners.

A huge thank you to all our patients for your patience and support throughout the project. These improvements will help us continue providing high-quality care and create a better environment for both patients and staff.

With the Bank Holiday coming up, it's a good time to check you have enough of any essential medications to get you through the long weekend, when our Practice will be closed.

We require at least 3 working days, and your local pharmacy may not be able to dispense the medicine straight away depending on how busy they are and what they have in stock, so please plan accordingly.

The NHS App makes it quick and easy to request your medications any time.
