Strathearn Building Bridges Inc, SCIO No Sc048085 Building Bridges into a better quality of life for people with learning and other disabilities and their carers in Strathearn. .

Purposes:
• To provide a focus for community based initiatives to support people with learning disabilities and their carers, to enhance integration, reduce isolation and to increase community awareness.
• To build bridges between local organisations (charitable, commercial and social) and with those with learning disabilities and their carers.
• Encourage people who provide services to deliver

support that actively responds to the needs of people with a learning disability.
• To raise, or support the raising, of funds for local community based initiatives, which will be initiated, led and developed by those with learning disabilities and their carers.
• To reflect the local priorities as expressed by those with learning disabilities or their carers in determining the services which should be supported or developed.

Happy 🌍 Earth day from the Knockdown Group ( part of Strathearn Building Bridges). The members did an amazing project on Our Power 🙏 Our Planet 🌍.
Kristina showed off her wonderful talent by painting a canvas of Our Planet and the members and volunteers shared some Changes that we can take into our own hands 🙌 to protect our planet 🌍.

We would be delighted to welcome you to our upcoming AGM that will take place at Strathearn Community Campus on Monday 16th February at 6:30pm, all very welcome.
Please join us for some light refreshments and to hear all about the exciting year we have had, along with our plans for the future.
In line with our charitable constitution, our trustees will stand down on the night and all positions will be up for re-election or nomination.

Huge Thank you to everyone who supported our Big Ted Christmas fundraiser 🙏😀. Big Ted was won by Gemma Patterson and she called Ted - Santa 🎅🏼.

The total funds raised was an amazing £268.00 .

“Name Big Ted” 🧸. 1 lucky name tag will be drawn out of Santa’s sack on Saturday 20th December and he will be in a new home 🏠 for Christmas 🎄 🎅🏼🎁

SBB needs your help! We have applied to Perth & Kinross Fairer Communities for All for a grant to help us run Saturday Lunch Club. The QR code which will take you directly to the page to register your vote. You must vote for (or tick) 5 out of the charities bidding in our section and 4 of the charities in the Greener Living Fund section before you can submit your vote, please make sure you complete the whole process. You may only vote once but your family members and friends may also vote so please, please encourage them to do so as every vote counts.

Voting closes at 5pm on Friday 14th November.

Fingers crossed we receive enough votes to secure the grant!

Happy Halloween 🎃 👻 from all the Knockdown group 🧙🐈‍⬛.
We had a fun filled night painting Spooky clays, pinning the nose👃 on the Wicked Witch 🧙 , passing the Pumpkin 🎃,and dancing to some ghostly tunes 🎵 👻 whilst enjoying some yummy cakes 🧁
Well done to everyone involved .
Oh !!! And what do you think of the fantastic costumes 👍🤩 aren’t they amazing.
