This is why we keep going. ❤️

Watching Jake packing orders with me today and seeing how seriously he takes every single one… honestly, the pride I could see in his little face got me. 🥹

He watches me work. He sees the good days and the hard days. He sees the hours that go into building something from nothing, and he sees that when things don’t go to plan, we get back up and keep going.

Katie and I might do this for the hundreds of thousands of people who watch us, support us, buy from us and follow our journey…

But amongst all of those people watching are our children.

And maybe they’re the most important audience we’ll ever have. ❤️

We’re showing them what’s possible when you believe in something.

We’re showing them that you don’t have to have everything figured out.

That things can go wrong.

That you can have setbacks.

That you can have days where you wonder how on earth you’re going to make it work…

And you keep going anyway.

Because one day I want Jake and Amelia to look back and know that Mum didn’t just tell them to chase their dreams they watched me chase mine.

Everything we’re building is ultimately for them. For our families. For their futures.

When you question if you should jack it all in… and then you realise who’s watching. ❤️

The last two years have taken more out of me than I probably ever admit.

Personally. Physically. Emotionally. Financially. And in business.

There have been so many moments where I’ve genuinely thought, would life just be easier if I jacked it all in?

No pressure.
No constant problem solving.
No carrying the weight of a business.
No wondering what the next hurdle is going to be.

And then this happens. 🥹

Jake is 9 years old.

He came to me with a piece of paper where he’d mapped out an idea for a whole new app that he thinks we should use in the business. 😂❤️

He’d thought about how it would work, what we could do with it and how it could help us.

And it stopped me in my tracks.

Because sometimes when you’re in the middle of everything, you forget who’s watching you do it.

My kids aren’t just watching Mum work.

They’re watching me get knocked down and get back up.

They’re watching me figure things out when I don’t know the answer.

They’re watching me take risks, build something from nothing, make mistakes, learn, adapt and keep going.

And apparently, without me even realising it, they’re learning from it too. 🥹

Maybe one day Jake won’t remember the stressful days, the tears or the times I wondered how the hell I was going to make everything work.

Maybe he’ll just remember that his mum didn’t give up.

And if watching me build this makes my children believe that they can have an idea, put it on a piece of paper and turn it into something real one day…

Then that’s a pretty bloody good reason to keep going. ❤️

Little eyes are always watching. And sometimes they’re exactly the reminder you need. 🥹❤️
