Due to a recent change I have a slot available on a Tuesday afternoon 1230-230. This is either for my carer sitter service or help around the home from cleaning, bed changes, ironing etc. if I can be of help drop me a message.

Where to go when it’s so warm, Gardenwise on CD road was the spot this morning with their air conditioning on. It was bliss and we had a lovely cuppa. The only issue was walking back out into what felt like an oven 🌞🌡️

Cannot believe it’s 6 months since I started out on this new journey and am absolutely loving it. Getting time to really chat to people is great but wasn’t always possible in the busy hospital setting. I’m going to share a couple of reviews I’ve received, one from the sitter service and the other from the cleaning side. It’s great to know that people are happy and that I made the right decision.

Karen has been a god send to our family since we started needing extra care for our mum .
The visits are fantastic for our mother and for ourselves, we all know she is very professional and caring but her communication and flexibility are vital for the family to feel they are all in very safe hands .
We would recommend Karen to anyone in the same position as us who needs more care to supplement other offerings.
Excellent service for all involved.

Karen is utterly reliable and responsible. She has been very flexible in taking on a variety of house management tasks when needed and everything is completed to a high standard. I can not fault her and I highly recommend her. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to all those who have reached out to me with enquiries for the service. I wish I could accommodate everyone but am fully booked at the moment. I do take details to contact people if slots become available but am hopeful that they find someone to avoid waiting too long.
To give some details on the service I offer a carers sitter service which allows the carers some respite time and I also offer a cleaning service with light household duties. This can be one or the other or a mix of both, it’s more like a home help than carer. Chores can include housework, changing beds, ironing, putting out bins etc. it can also be sitting chatting and keeping someone company, activities like dominoes etc or going out for coffee or a run in the car, really whatever is needed or helps. The service operates in hourly blocks and these can be agreed depending on what is required.
Thank you again to those who have taken the time to contact me, if working I’m unable to answer my phone but will pick up a voicemail or message when I can.

Winter is definitely making its presence felt, the paths were too icy to venture out this morning so we stayed in and played dominoes, it’s fair to say I got absolutely thrashed but a fun way to pass some time 😂
