This afternoon at the Sunshine Group was absolutely amazing. The ladies fuelled up with a cosy cuppa before diving into an afternoon full of singing, laughing and dancing. Such brilliant energy and so many smiles — what a fantastic way to spend the day.☀️☀️☀️

🧶✨ Our Knitting Club was in full swing today, and what a lovely morning we had!

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and great conversations as everyone enjoyed spending time together, sharing ideas, and working on their knitting projects. It was wonderful to see everyone supporting one another and having so much fun. 💙🧶

🌞 A Day of Coastlines, Memories & Teamwork! 🌞
Today we enjoyed one of our absolute favourite activities — our bus trips!

This morning we took a lovely drive down to Culross, soaking in the beachy views and the clear skies. The residents loved getting out and about, with the fresh air bringing back lots of happy memories.

This afternoon we headed in the opposite direction, travelling up the coast all the way to Thornton. Plenty more scenery, sunshine and smiles along the way.

While some of our residents were out galavanting, a few of our ladies were busy tackling a jigsaw — and they were determined to keep going into the afternoon! We made great progress (if we do say so ourselves!) and it was brilliant teamwork from everyone involved.

🌍🗺️ Our residents put their knowledge to the test today with a fun World Landmarks Quiz!

There was plenty of thinking, chatting, and teamwork as everyone tried to identify famous landmarks from around the world. It sparked lots of wonderful conversations, memories of holidays, and a few friendly debates along the way!

Activities like quizzes are a fantastic way to keep our minds active while encouraging social interaction, laughter, and confidence. Well done to everyone who took part! 🌎✨

Our lovely ladies were back at it this afternoon for a brilliant exercise class with our fantastic David! There was plenty of stretching, moving, laughing… and maybe just the odd comment about how much David likes to keep us all on our toes! 😂

Everyone gave it their best, joining in at their own pace and proving that staying active can be just as enjoyable as it is beneficial and it’s always better when there’s lots of laughter along the way💙

A huge thank you to David for bringing the energy, encouragement, and a few sneaky extra exercises! We think he’s forgiven… until next time! 😅

Despite the rain trying to dampen our plans, it certainly didn’t stop us heading to Dunfermline for another wonderful Cycling Without Age ride around Pittencrieff Park! 🌧️🚲

Our residents wrapped up and enjoyed a lovely trip through the beautiful park, taking in the sights, spotting the majestic peacocks, and breathing in plenty of fresh air. There’s something so special about being outdoors, whatever the weather, and everyone had a fantastic time🥰

A huge thank you to the amazing volunteers at Cycling Without Age Scotland Dunfermline Pittencrieff Park for another memorable outing. We can’t wait for our next adventure! 💙

🌼 Happy Sunday everyone! 🌼

This morning we had a wonderful turnout for the Dalgety Bay Parish Church service. The room was full of warmth and reflection as we sang hymns, shared prayers, and took a quiet moment together. The atmosphere was truly uplifting — plenty of smiles, thoughtful conversations, and a lovely sense of togetherness.

This afternoon our residents were in the mood for a good murder‑mystery, so we settled in to watch Murder on the Orient Express. There were plenty of guesses flying around, but the ending still managed to shock us all. It really got everyone’s brains working — a brilliant way to finish a fun Saturday in the home. 🕵️‍♀️✨
