Sunday went well at the Bonnyrigg Rose Walking Football Festival. 10 men's teams and 6 women's teams. Hibs Community Foundation won the men's tournament and Giffnock won the women's. Our Ageing Well Ladies Walking Football team came second in the group stage and got beat by Giffnock in the semi finals.
The event raised £675 towards the Pensioners Christmas lunch fund. Well done to everyone involved!

Pétanque is a sport that is growing in popularity.
If you like being outdoors then why not give it a try?
Just turn up on a Thursday, 10am at Roslin Pavilion.
After the game, everyone heads into the Community Hall to enjoy a relaxed coffee and cake (or biscuits!) and a friendly chat.
It's a great way to keep active, meet new people and have some fun.
