Sometimes it's about more than just a stairlift… it's about the people we meet along the way!

We recently installed a reconditioned stairlift for a lovely lady in Mapperley, Nottingham, and we're delighted to say she was absolutely thrilled with her new stairlift – and the little surprise of flowers and chocolates too!

But our visits don't always stop once the stairlift is installed!

We popped back for a friendly after-sales visit to go over using her stairlift again, answer any questions and make sure she was feeling happy and confident with everything.

And of course, we couldn't leave without enjoying a lovely cuppa and a good chat! ☕😊

Last week, our team installed a reconditioned stairlift for a lovely customer, helping her move around her home safely and confidently again.

But this installation needed a little something extra…

With the bottom of the stairs positioned near her front door, we needed to make sure the stairlift track wouldn't get in the way of her coming and going.

The solution? A hinged rail!

This clever feature allows the bottom section of the track to fold up and out of the way when the stairlift isn't in use, keeping her front door easily accessible.

It's little details like this that make such a big difference to everyday life.

And it's a great reminder that a reconditioned stairlift can still be tailored to suit your home and your needs, without the cost of buying brand new! 💚

Another lovely K2 installation and this one helped bring someone home.

We recently visited a customer in Eastwood, Nottingham, whose husband was in hospital waiting to be discharged.

With no downstairs toilet and no suitable space for a bed downstairs, being able to safely access the upstairs of their home was essential before he could return.

Just 48 hours after our initial survey, our team had installed this brand-new K2 straight stairlift, ready for him coming home! 🏡💚

And we’re pleased to say it’s already got his seal of approval – he particularly loves the wide, comfy seat.

Sometimes a stairlift isn’t simply about making the stairs easier. It can be the final piece of the puzzle that allows someone to leave hospital and get back to the comfort of their own home.

Over the years, so many of our stairlift customers have asked us the same question… “Do you know anything that could help me move around the rest of my home with the same ease?”

And because people already trust us to look after them on the stairs, it felt only right to extend that support beyond the staircase.

That’s why we introduced Priority Powerchairs - three carefully chosen models designed to meet different needs, lifestyles and levels of mobility.

Here’s what guided our choices:
✔️ Easy manoeuvrability at home
✔️ Lightweight, foldable designs for simple transport
✔️ Comfort and support for longer days out
✔️ Smooth, reliable performance indoors and outdoors
✔️ Options to suit everyday use, travel, or adventure

And the best part? We bring the powerchair to you for a free 24hr home demonstration, so you can try it in the spaces that matter most.

Don’t wait until it becomes urgent. We often hear from families when using the stairs has suddenly become impossible – perhaps after a fall, a hospital stay or a change in mobility.

But if the stairs are already becoming difficult, you don’t have to wait until you can no longer manage them at all before looking at your options.

Having a conversation early gives you time to:
✔️ Understand the different stairlift options available
✔️ Find the right solution for your home
✔️ Ask questions without feeling rushed
✔️ Make a decision when you’re ready

And getting a stairlift doesn’t mean giving up your independence. Quite often, it’s about protecting it before the stairs start deciding what parts of your home you can use.

At Priority, our home surveys are free and without obligation, with friendly, honest advice and absolutely no pressure to buy: 📞 0115 849 2386
