Many charities and CICs tell us the same thing:

“We have ideas, projects and opportunities to help more people… we just don’t have enough capacity to deliver them.”

That’s where Root2Rise can help.

Through our growing partnerships with education providers and community networks, we’re helping organisations connect with volunteers looking to gain meaningful experience while making a real difference in their communities.

Whether you need support with administration, marketing, digital projects, events, fundraising, research or day to day operations, there may be volunteers available who can help.

Some opportunities are short term. Others can provide ongoing support over many months, helping charities build sustainable capacity rather than relying on one off volunteer projects.

If your organisation is struggling with resources, volunteer recruitment or finding the right people to support your mission, we’d love to have a conversation.

Get in touch and tell us what support you need.

[email protected]

Together, we can help more charities access the people, skills and support they need to make an even bigger impact across the East Midlands.

Be gentle with yourself. 💜

Menopause can bring so many changes — physically, mentally and emotionally — and sometimes the most important thing you can do is give yourself grace through it all.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You don’t have to push through every hard day alone.

Rest when you need to.
Listen to your body.
Speak kindly to yourself.

✨ You deserve the same compassion you give to everyone else.

💜 If you’re looking for support and a community that understands, come and join Me, Myself Menopause.

Feeling like your energy has completely disappeared lately?
Struggling to keep up the way you used to?

For many women, that drop in energy can be linked to perimenopause and menopause.

Hormonal changes can affect: • Energy levels
• Motivation
• Sleep
• Mood
• Recovery

And sometimes the biggest shift is learning that instead of constantly fighting against your body, it’s important to start working with it. 💜

Listening to your body, slowing down when needed and giving yourself support through this stage of life can make such a difference.

You are not lazy.
You are not failing.
Your body is going through change.

✨ If you’re looking for support, understanding and a community of women who truly get it, come and join Me, Myself Menopause.

Every woman’s menopause journey is different — and every story deserves to be heard. 💜

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is share our experiences openly, honestly and without shame.

Because when women talk about what they’re going through, others realise they’re not alone.

At Me, Myself Menopause, we believe in creating a space where women can feel supported, understood and empowered through every stage of menopause.

✨ Your story matters.
✨ Your experience is valid.
✨ And you never have to navigate this journey alone.

Hydration becomes so important during menopause — yet it’s something many women overlook.

Hormonal changes can affect everything from: • Energy levels
• Hot flushes
• Skin dryness
• Headaches
• Bloating
• Fatigue

And staying hydrated can help support your body through these changes.

Sometimes the smallest daily habits can make the biggest difference to how you feel. 💜

✨ If you’re navigating menopause and looking for support, understanding and practical advice, come and join the Me, Myself Menopause community.

You are enough. 💜

Even on the hard days.
Even when your body feels different.
Even when menopause feels overwhelming.

Be gentle with yourself — you’re navigating a huge stage of change, and you’re doing better than you think.

✨ You are never alone.

Menopause can bring many changes — and one of the most common is changes in body shape and weight.

For many women, this can feel frustrating, emotional and difficult to understand, especially when your body no longer responds the way it used to.

Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can affect: • Weight distribution
• Metabolism
• Bloating
• Muscle mass
• Energy levels

And because it’s not talked about enough, many women end up blaming themselves instead of understanding what their body is going through.

💜 Your body is changing — and you deserve support, not shame.

✨ If you’re navigating menopause and looking for a community that understands, come and join Me, Myself Menopause.
