🍰 Macmillan Cancer Support Bake Sale ☕💚

Join us and the hope and empathy cafe on Wednesday 23rd September, from 9am to 1pm, at North Road Suite Ravensthorpe Health Centre.

There’ll be homemade cakes, biscuits, jams and plenty of tea and coffee—all while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Everyone is welcome, so please pop along, enjoy a treat and help us make a difference! 💚

We are now taking bookings for our autumn vaccination clinics at North Road Suite.

✅ Flu vaccine eligibility includes:

Everyone aged 65 and over
People aged 18–64 with certain health conditions
Pregnant women
Carers and close contacts of immunocompromised people
Children aged 2 or 3 on 31 August 2026

✅ COVID vaccine eligibility:

Adults aged 75 and over
People aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed
Residents of older-adult care homes

Mental Health Social Prescribing provides non medical support
around mental health and well being.
We give you the time to talk about what matters to you supporting
you to navigate through the things that impact on your mental
health and also support you to connect to mental health specialist
services.
If you would like support or would like to find out more drop in and
meet your Mental Health Social Prescribing Link Worker, Nasreen.
We will also be joined by CLEAR a free mental wellbeing service for
adults (18+) in Kirklees, offering supportive groups, courses and
activities to build confidence, develop skills and improve wellbeing.

💜 Cervical Screening Awareness Week | 15th–21st June 💜

Cervical screening (previously known as a smear test) is one of the best ways to protect yourself against cervical cancer. It can detect changes early, before cancer has a chance to develop.

📅 If you've received an invitation, please don't delay – book your appointment.

✔️ Screening is offered to people aged 25 to 64 with a cervix.
✔️ The test is quick and carried out by trained healthcare professionals.
✔️ Even if you've had the HPV vaccine, regular screening is still important.

It's normal to feel anxious or have questions. Support and information are available, and your practice team is here to help.
