We want to hear your thoughts and suggestions on how GP practices communicate with patients about cancer.

Hosted by Well Doncaster Be Well Doncaster, we're inviting our local residents to come to a focus group at Bullcroft Memorial Hall to shape future digital GP services.

We want you to tell us about things like how you'd like to contact your GP, and how the NHS app, online forms, and text messages could be used to make things easier for you regarding symptoms, screening, and test results.

Anyone can take part and everyone is welcome. If you'd like to be involved, text YES to 07565 715184 to confirm your place (places are limited) and make a note of the details below!

Enhanced Access Appointments 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️

These additional appointments outside the core surgery hours are delivered by a range of healthcare professionals, including GPs, Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacists, ANPs and Physiotherapists.

Appointment availability includes some early mornings, some evenings & Saturdays for physio appointments.

👥📲Appointments are offered as a suitable mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations.

📲 If you are expecting a telephone call from the surgery, please make sure you have your phone with you and the sound on! 🔊

⌚If you need an appointment outside of usual opening hours e.g. before or after work or school, please speak to your Reception Team to check availability.

👀 It is important to tell your reception staff as soon as possible if you can't attend so the appointment can be offered to someone who may need it!

August Women's Wellbeing Hubs 🌸

This month's theme is Food and Fitness, with two fantastic sessions designed to support your health and wellbeing.

🥗 Friday 7th August – Dietitian Grace Agi Edoh shares her Top 10 Tips for Women's Health Nutrition.

💚 Tuesday 18th August – Learn about the Lymphatic System and Lymphatic Drainage with a workshop led by Andy from ARP.

The hub is free, welcoming and family-friendly, with activities for children if you need to bring them along.

Did you know you may be able to book an appointment outside your GP surgery's usual opening hours?

Our Extended Access service offers appointments with a range of healthcare professionals, including:

👨‍⚕️ GPs
👩‍⚕️ Nurses
🩹 Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)
💊 Pharmacists
🩺 Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs)
🦴 Physiotherapists

🕒 Face-to-face and telephone appointments are available for early mornings, evenings and Saturdays (physiotherapy appointments only)

💬 If you need an appointment before or after work or school, speak to your Reception Team to find out what appointments are available.

❗If you can no longer attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so it can be offered to another patient.
