Sleep can sometimes be one of the first things affected when life becomes stressful or our wellbeing changes.

Ask yourself:
Am I getting enough sleep?
Am I struggling to switch off?
Am I staying up later than I intended?
Am I relying on caffeine to get through the day?
Am I regularly waking up feeling exhausted?

If poor sleep is becoming part of everyday life, it may be worth looking at what could be affecting it.

Check in with your sleep. Check in with your wellbeing.

We ask each other “How are you?” all the time.

But how often do we stop and ask ourselves the same question?

Take a moment today to check in.

Are you feeling stressed?
Overwhelmed?
Low?
Anxious?
Exhausted?
Or simply not quite yourself?

Recognising that you’re struggling can be an important first step towards finding support.

💙 World Mental Health Day – You matter! 💙

Today is World Mental Health Day, a reminder that looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after our physical health.

Life can be challenging, and we all have times when things feel a little overwhelming. Whether you’re juggling work, family life, caring responsibilities or simply finding your way through a difficult day, remember that you’re not alone. 💙

Here are a few little things that can make a difference:

💙 Pick up the phone and have a chat with someone.
💙 Get outside and enjoy some fresh air.
💙 Take a break and give yourself permission to slow down.
💙 Talk about how you’re feeling - sharing can help.
💙 Be kind to yourself and to those around you.

You never know what someone else might be going through, so a smile, a listening ear or a simple “Are you okay?” could mean more than you realise.

Let’s look out for one another and help make Doncaster a place where everyone feels supported, heard and valued.

Your mental health matters. Today, tomorrow and every day. 💙

💛 CHECK IN WITH YOUR HEALTH 💛

When was the last time you really checked in with how you’re feeling?

Not just physically - but mentally and emotionally too.

This autumn, DonnyDot is encouraging everyone across Doncaster to take a moment to check in with their health and wellbeing.

- How are you feeling?
- Are you getting enough rest?
- Are you looking after yourself?
- Is something worrying you?
- Have you been putting off a health concern?

You know yourself better than anyone. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it.

Throughout October and November, we’ll be sharing information, reminders and local support to help you put your health first.

When was the last time you put your phone down and gave yourself a break from notifications?

This week, challenge yourself to spend 30 minutes doing something offline:
- Read a book
- Go for a walk
- Enjoy a quiet cuppa
- Sit outside and enjoy the fresh air

Sometimes the smallest pauses can make the biggest difference.

As summer begins to wind down, take a moment to reflect on the small things that have helped your wellbeing.

Maybe you've:
- Walked a little more
- Connected with someone
- Spent more time outdoors
- Been kinder to yourself

Every positive step counts.

What's one thing you'll take with you into autumn?
