What if your dog's behaviour is actually telling you something? 🐾

Excessive licking, sudden reactivity, restlessness or avoiding being touched aren't always just behavioural issues.

Sometimes, these changes can be linked to pain or discomfort.

Not every behaviour means pain, but a sudden change is always worth investigating.

Swipe through for 5 behaviours that deserve a closer look. 👉

I had a fabulous day on Wednesday delivering CPD for the trainers at supportdogsuk 🐶💚

As a lovely thank you for delivering the CPD session free of charge to support their fantastic charity, they kindly gifted me my very own Support Dogs bear! 🧸💚 A really thoughtful gesture that means a lot!

They were the very first to learn from my latest webinar, ‘Canine Gait Analysis for Pet Professionals’ 👀

The session focused on recognising subtle signs of pain through canine movement and understanding how these can influence a dog’s behaviour. Being able to spot these signs is so important in helping us better understand why a dog may be behaving in a certain way. 🐾

A huge thank you to Support Dogs UK for having me!

Want to learn more? 👀

There’s still time to join the pre-registration list to be the first to hear when webinar tickets go live. 🎟️

Meet Ted! 🐾❤️

At 10 years old, Ted was struggling with arthritis in both elbows. He'd reached a point where he didn't want to walk or even play anymore.

But just look at him now! 🥹

Ted is back to his usual playful self, and his transformation has been so noticeable that people who bump into him can't believe he's the same dog!

He's 10 years old but acting like a puppy again. ❤️

Stories like Ted's are exactly why we love what we do.

Arthritis doesn't have to mean giving up on the things your dog loves. With the right veterinary care and support, improvements in comfort and mobility can be possible.

Had a amazing holiday in Egypt travelling between Cairo & Luxor 🇪🇬

Still mind boggled about how the pyramids and temples were built 🤯 - They are extraordinary!

If Egypt isn’t on your bucket list I would definitely recommend adding it!

P.s. Please be prepared for ongoing conversations about Egyptian conspiracy theories until they’ve been solved 🤣

See you soon guys! 🫡

Does your dog hesitate before walking across laminate or tiled flooring? 🐾

It might not just be because they don't like the surface…

For dogs experiencing joint pain, muscle weakness or reduced stability, slippery floors can make everyday movement much more challenging.

And sometimes, one uncomfortable slip is enough to make them reluctant to try again.

What's important to remember is that your dog doesn't have to be visibly limping to be experiencing discomfort.

Avoiding certain surfaces can be one of those subtle changes worth paying attention to.

Swipe through to understand why slippery flooring can be difficult for some dogs. 👉
