Dorset Nursing Supplies is hiring for a Service Engineer - full training provided!

Job title: Service Engineer
Salary: £26,000 – £31,000, depending on qualifications and experience
Although experience is desirable, full training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to learn on the job.
Position: Full time, permenant. Monday - Thursday 0830 - 1700, Friday 0830 - 1630
Driving Licence required.

This week celebrates 'World Incontinence Week' from the 15th June to 21st June 2026

When our founder, Barrie Mayes, first started building Dorset Nursing Supplies in 1985, he began by providing incontinence pads to local care homes across Bournemouth and Poole, and it became the foundation of the business.

Dorset Nursing Supplies has now grown into a family owned and run business providing a vast range of medical equipment and engineering services across the
care industry.

We were absolutely delighted to receive this from the medical care team at Chama District Hospital in Zambia. Our incredible director Jeremy arranged for nearly 4,500 hospital uniforms to be donated to the trust, supporting many members of staff.

Chama District Hospital is a major healthcare facility located in the Chama District of Muchinga Province, Zambia. It serves as a vital referral and medical centre for the region's rural and expansive catchment area.

We are so pleased to see they were safely received, and hope they offer years of service. 🧑‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

An early start on Tuesday morning in Dorchester with Anna Knight CMgr FMCI and Billy Lintell from Dorset Care Association. Great to catch up with everyone and have the opportunity to talk about Dorset Nursing Supplies Ltd.

The stand was a bit wonky at the start! In my defence, I'd just returned from a Norwegian Cruise with rough seas and being the space geek that I am, I stayed up late to catch updates from Artemis 2 and the mission around the far side of the moon.
