Ive been sat in the garden this morning.
Sat with my thoughts.
Sat with my to do list
Sat with my hopes and my dreams
Sat with my reality
And understanding that merging all of these together become life.
Sometimes we loose sight of one of the parts but they are still there, you may have just lost sight of them while your head is down resting.
Rise up and complete all of your parts ❣️

Friendship and union - in today's busy lives the union of friendship can easily slip by. A couple of days go by when you've been meaning to contact someone. Take a step back, has that connection wained because it is no longer serving you or is it because you haven't been putting the effort in.
Feed a friendship or union that feeds your soul, dont let life get in the way of the connections you need ❣️

It's been another lesson...
I'm finally beginning to understand boundaries...
Not the sort you read about in books...
The sort you have to practise...
The sort where you can still be compassionate...
Still care deeply...
Still wish someone well...

Whilst quietly accepting that their storm isn't yours to stand in...

That's a hard lesson...
Especially if you're the sort of person who always wants to help people fix things... ❣️

30+ years ago I attended NHS group therapy. At the end of the 12 weeks we were asked to bring a quote, a song or a picture which explained what we had gotten out of the group. One of the women, who had participated in the group played this. This song, as soon as it comes reminds me of that time, reminds me of her, of her journey and how far I have come 😊
