Hey Kindness Community 🙌
Welcome to April 🌞 one of my favourite months. It’s a month full of birthdays in my little world (my son and husband included), but it’s also something deeply important to me and to so many of us here…
🧡 It’s FND Awareness Month. 💙
Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is a misunderstood, complex, and dynamic neurological disability.
No two people experience it the same way. Symptoms can shift, fluctuate, and impact every part of daily life and yet, FND is still one of the most overlooked conditions in the neurological world.
Right now, there is no medication and no cure for FND.
But there is a community.
There is strength.
There is lived experience.
There is a collective voice that refuses to be ignored.
This month, we stand together sharing stories, raising awareness, educating with compassion, and reminding the world that FND is real, valid, and deserving of understanding and support.
🧡 To everyone living with FND: I see you.
🧡 To carers, families, and friends: thank you for standing beside us.
🧡 To our community: let’s make this month loud, kind, and impossible to overlook.
Here’s to April a month of awareness, connection, and being heard.
