I'm curious, what's stopping you from accessing Conductive Education sessions?

I want to make sure that I can break down any barriers and provide the exact clarity you need to support your child's journey.

I wouldn't say I do traditional Conductive Education as I have collaborated and learnt from some amazing Physio's, SALT and OT's in my carer.

I also want to make sure I can fully explain what I do and how I can support you and your child.

I have a wide range of knowledge and experience so I am genuinely curious as to what maybe stopping you from accessing Conductive Education sessions.

Is it:
Understanding of Conductive Education?
How can Conductive Education support your child?

Conductive Education is all about exploring and learning.

I believe in supporting and empowering Children and Adults and every session is designed with care to ensure that every person not only learns but thrives in an encouraging and nurturing environment.

Conductive Education encourages children and adults to become active learners in their development. In my sessions I create a variety of learning opportunities to develop skills for learning and growth.

Itโ€™s about more than just physical movementโ€”itโ€™s about the whole person.

What does that look like in my sessions?

We work together to encourage and develop:

Physical Skills: Like sitting, standing, and reaching.

Communication & Social Skills: Interaction, turn-taking and play skills.

My role is to create the right environment for exploration to happen.

Everything we do in session has a purpose!

If you ever have any questions during a session about why we are doing a specific task or activity, please don't hesitate to ask! I love sharing the strategy behind what I am doing. so We are all working together to support movement, learning and growth.

Email [email protected] to find out more information about the support I provide.

Today is the International Day of Play.

Play is such an important part of my Conductive Education sessions.

I always make sure my sessions are full of play as this is how children learn. Because play is the learning.

Play is a powerful learning tool as it supports the development of childrens:

Problem solving skills
Fine and Gross Motor Skills
Speech and Communication skills
Relationships
Fosters creativity
Establishes new neural connections
Helps boost confidence and independence

Play creates wonderful learning opportunities and moments

In my sessions I am focused on what your child can do and I use their favourite toys and activities to ensure every session happens in a fun learning environment.

A lovely parent I know is now running Baby Sensory Durham.

It is Multi Sensory classes that are designed for babies 0-13 months.

Classes in Hartlepool, Sherburn Hill and Castle Eden.

I would definitely go and check it out if you have a little learner.

๐Ÿ’›Now that the bookings are live for our first venue and the second venue is soon to be announced I thought it was time to introduce myself! ๐Ÿ’š

Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹ I am Joanne and I am the proud new owner and class leader of Baby Sensory Durham ๐Ÿฅฐ

I LOVE Baby Sensory and attended classes with both of my boys. I remember saying to a friend what an amazing job this would be, so when the opportunity came to own Baby Sensory Durham I jumped at the chance.

I have been a secondary school science teacher for the past 11 years so I am really passionate about the research behind the activities used in Baby Sensory, sharing how the activities help support your little ones learning and development ๐Ÿ’›

I am also part of the SEND world as my oldest son has Downs Syndrome and I loved how inclusive the Baby Sensory classes are. Attending the class was one of the highlights of my week, one hour of un-interrupted time, bonding with my baby but also the chance to connect with other parents in the rest break.๐Ÿ’š

I am so excited to meet you all!
