As a mindfulness teacher and practitioner I use my teachings to help navigate my way through difficult thoughts and feelings
My practice has gifted me the ability to notice when flight mode is creeping in, through my body and way before my mind notices
It’s not about shutting difficult thoughts out…
Automatically reacting…
or going down a negative spiral…
It’s about being present,
accepting the moment,
then taking however many moments you need to gather and regroup
Creating this space allows for clarity and opportunity to choose a wise response
A response that’s helpful, both for self care and any action you choose to take 🫶🏼
