A big thank you to some of our amazing carers across Edinburgh this week 💜

In the North, Timothy received lovely feedback from a service user: “Pleasant, efficient, tidy and did everything perfectly.” Exactly the kind of care we’re proud to see every day!

In the South West, Afaf has been recognised by a service user’s daughter for the compassionate support she’s given during a difficult time. She’s taken the time to understand what matters most and made sure everything is just right.

Also in the South West, Tracey has been described as “fantastic” and “a real credit to the company.” A recent council review also highlighted her as an exceptional and professional carer.

Thank you Timothy, Afaf and Tracey for the care, dedication and consistency you show every day, it really does make a difference! ✨

Happy Birthday to our service users 🥳✨

In Edinburgh, our service user Betty turned 100 – what an incredible milestone! She received a special card from the King and Queen Consort, some gorgeous flowers and a lovely balloon from her grandchildren!

In Lanarkshire, our service user Irene celebrated her 82nd birthday, with beautiful flowers and a well-deserved celebration.

Thank you to our Care Assistants for helping our wonderful service users celebrate their special days 💐

Leigh joined Call-In Homecare in 2019 and has been an integral part of the team ever since, particularly supporting clients with complex needs with kindness and professionalism.
After completing her SVQ during COVID, Leigh has now achieved her goal of becoming a qualified social worker - securing success at her very first interview!

We received a lovely compliment recognising David and Kerry for the support they provided during a difficult situation, helping a service user return to their care home following a failed discharge. Their compassion and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed, thank you both.

After an incredible 18 years with us, Terry retired on 9th May. Thank you for your dedication, hard work and care over the years, you’ve made such a difference to so many lives. Wishing you all the very best in your retirement 💐

Laura truly goes above and beyond for the people she supports. From accompanying a service user to appointments, even A&E following a fall, to helping care for her guinea pigs, Laura’s kindness and commitment shine through. The trust she has built is clear, and it makes a real difference 💜
