How to actually live a happier & healthier life 🦋

At some point you realise…
it’s not about fixing everything around you —
it’s about facing yourself.

Be unapologetically you, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Stop pretending you have all the answers. You don’t — and that’s where growth begins.

Let people be exactly who they are…
and decide if that aligns with the life you’re building.

Heal what hurt you.
Not because it’s easy — but because it’s yours to carry until you do.

Move your body. Sit in silence.
Learn how to be alone without needing distraction.
Be happy for others, even when you’re still waiting for your turn.

Let go of control. Let go of fear.

Tell the truth — especially to yourself.

Choose people who choose you.
And walk away from anything that costs you your peace.

Trust yourself. Fully.
Even when it doesn’t make sense yet.
Because the truth is…
life isn’t happening to you.
It’s shaping you.

Save this for the days you forget who you are. 🖤

The way that we think and talk about ourselves literally helps create our reality whether it’s helpful or unhelpful🩷.

For most of us we have speaking to ourselves like s**t for a really long time and that mean girl voice can be so loud and critical at times. It’s hard to just stop because of the years of conditioning and limiting beliefs we’ve created through past experiences and that’s why self love can be hard. It’s a journey for sure my loves but a very important one🫶🏻

So we have to get started somewhere right?…

For me I think having a photo of you as a child on a mirror where you’ll see it every day can be supper helpful for you to be kinder to yourself and have more compassion towards yourself.

This is because for so long we’ve gotten away with talking to ourselves like s**t BUT we would never say those things to anyone else never mind a small innocent child.

So really look at her and say nice things to her every morning and every night because when your looking at her and being kind and saying nice things you are literally talking to yourself like that and your subconscious is taking it in.

The more we can speak to ourselves in positive ways and more consistently the quicker we create new neutron pathways and believe what we are actually saying. When we start believing it, we align with it and start taking aligned action and eventually it becomes so ingrained in who we are, we start identify as those things.

Trust me do this for a week and watch that inner mean girl voice dissolve🙌🏻

Are You Giving Too Many F*cks Away?

For years I would replay every social interaction in my head.

What did I say?
Did that sound stupid?
Did they think I was weird?

Then came the cringe… followed by anxiety.
I stayed quiet in class because I was scared of saying the wrong thing.
When I travelled, I held myself back because I worried about what people would think of me.
I didn’t even take my son to baby classes at one point because I felt embarrassed about the weight I had put on.

Looking back now, I can see something clearly:
I was creating a very small life for myself.
Not because I wasn’t capable.
But because I was giving too many f*cks away.

Where in your life are you giving too many f*cks away?
What would change if you stopped living for other people’s opinions and started trusting yourself a little more?

If you’re ready to start working on:

👑 Letting go of what others think
🩷 Overcoming anxiety
👑 Building real self-confidence

send me a message or get in touch — I’d love to support you on that journey.

Nothing hurts us more than our own insecurities.

My confidence after having my kids (more so with Jamie) was extremely low, not just about my body but every part of me. With that going on & crippling anxiety I really withdrew myself.

I didn’t want to go out in public or socialise because I had a fear of being judged. So, instead I stayed home, watched Netflix, didn’t take my new born out to baby classes & I felt lonely.

Have you ever missed out on things like…

👉🏼 taking pictures with your kids because of insecurities

👉🏼 not going for that job or starting your own business because you didn’t feel good enough

👉🏼 social events with family or friends

Or

👉🏼 playing small in your life and not going after what you want

👉🏼 trying to be perfect/became a “perfectionist”

👉🏼 afraid to be seen so you dim your light

One of the biggest fears we have is being judged so we try to be perfect or we miss out on things so we aren’t seen and it absolutely kills our confidence.

We need to work on letting go of societies expectations, trying to please others and start embracing who really are! take up space my love and start creating that confidence from within because you deserve to live life how you really want👑

On the days where that mean girl voice is just a bit louder, I try to imagine myself through my kids eyes. Through their eyes they see a kind, caring, safe person who loves unconditionally. Some days I just need that little reminder.

Im really trying to accept my body not just for myself but for my kids to see a mother who is secure enough in her own body and who practices self love. My hope is that my kids will grow up to understand that women’s body’s are not objects, that their OWN bodies aren’t objects, that having this ideal body won’t make them happy because well-being can only come from within no matter how we look.

We’ve been at war with our bodies for a long time now, I think it’s time for us to support each other more, to have the courage to speak out, have opened conversations so we can then heal and have a different experience around body Image. And in hopes our children might not have to spend 15 years of their lives hating their body like most of us have.

Ask yourself how you want to feel about yourself, instead of how you want to look. And on those bad days try to see yourself through your loved ones eyes. Because through their eyes is the real you, loving, kind and whole.

We often accept our loved ones flaws and see them through colour lenses but we are also worthy to see ourselves through those same lenses... ALWAYS💖

I use to talk a lot about body image on here and it’s something that I’ve not done in a while…

Purely because I’ve been going through my own journey with my body since having Lillie. What I noticed when doing the work on this again was I felt a little resentful towards my body for growing and changing so much during my pregnancy’s and how it’s not bounced back like I did with my son.

But I’ve been reminding myself recently that it has absolutely nothing to do with our bodies and everything to do with our thinking.

The most important question you should ask yourself is…

How am I speaking to myself?

Because how we speak to ourselves contributes so much to self love and how we see ourselves.

Shift your focus from everything you want to change and that inner mean girl voice to better feeling thoughts about yourself🙌🏻

If “ I love my body” or “ I love myself” doesn’t feel true right now that’s absolutely ok but what feels better than “I hate myself” or “I hate my body”….

Maybe “I am learning to love myself” or “ I am so much more than my body” even thanking your body for what it does for you on a daily basis🩷

Ask loved ones what they love about you and pop them on sticky notes, write down better feeling thoughts and plaster them all over your mirror and look at them everyday.

Train your brain to be more positive. Repetition is key my loves✨

We weren’t put on this earth to hate ourselves my love. Be kind to yourself🩷

Pop in the comments 1 thing you can do to love yourself more👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

The job of a mum can feel like too much for one person — because it was never meant to be done by just one person.

Back when we lived in tribes, mums would gather food, spend time with friends, enjoy hobbies like arts and crafts, all while the other adults helped care for the children. The whole tribe helped raise the baby — because it truly takes a village.

Life looks very different now. Everyone is busy, working, stressed, and community isn’t what it used to be. Parents are often doing it all on their own.
In my opinion, we weren’t designed to parent this way. It’s no surprise that mental health struggles among mothers are so high.

I couldn’t wait to be a mum. I was so excited when we found out I was pregnant. But nothing could have prepared me for the rollercoaster that is motherhood. It’s the craziest and most beautiful journey I’ve ever been on.

What no one tells you:

👉🏼 How intense your hormones can be after birth
👉🏼 That you might lose friends along the way
👉🏼 How hard it can be to accept your new body
👉🏼 That anxiety and depression can show up
👉🏼 How exhausted you’ll feel
👉🏼 How lost you can become

There’s no manual for stepping into this new role. But what we can do is have open conversations, so new mums know they’re not alone.

So here’s my invitation to you: slow down. Check in with yourself. Ask, “What do I need right now?”
You are the most important person in your life. And when you feel your best, you can be the best role model for the little people around you 🤍

Week 1 of soft 75- getting my spark back edition complete✨

First week wasn’t the best if I am being honest. Wasn’t a great week to start with my period, kids unsettled at night and a very busy weekend driving the kids to their many activities. BUT giving myself grace because I have been making progress and slow progress is better than non💕

We go again this week!
