I had a lovely morning in the sunshine working on these three horses during their regular two-month check-in, and they all felt fantastic. It really shows how consistent massage can help prevent aches and pains while keeping them performing at their best.

They’ve got a busy summer ahead having been out cross-country at the weekend, and they have a competition for the mounted Pony Club games this weekend. I wish them and their team all the success, and I’m looking forward to seeing the horses and their owner again in the next few months.

The ponies were impeccably behaved too, especially considering there were men up in the big oak trees lopping off branches, with debris falling and being fed through the chipper nearby, they didn’t bat an eye!

It’s always a pleasure to treat Alfie, my client’s horse. He’s an ex-racehorse who came to her last year in quite poor condition, and she’s spent the winter helping him feel happy and comfortable in himself again.

He’s had his saddle checked, teeth checked and his feet are still a work in progress, but every piece is coming together. I see him every few months, and we also incorporate groundwork to support the changes we’re making.

As you can see, he absolutely loves his sessions. As his body changes shape and he starts using different muscles than he would have in racing, we’re able to release the tightness each time I see him. It’s not just about easing discomfort—it’s about helping him learn to move in a new, more balanced way.

He’s such a sweetheart, and it’s so rewarding to be part of his journey as he becomes more comfortable and confident in his body.

Today I had the pleasure of treating two wonderful horses, each with their own needs.

One of them is a beautiful 28-year-old who absolutely loves her MagnaWave sessions. As our horses age, maintaining comfort and mobility becomes so important.
