Yet another fun-filled day at Willowmere Lodge this week! 🎶

It may not have gone quite to plan, but that didn’t stop us from having a wonderful time! Residents, visitors and staff all joined together for a good old singalong (if we could sing or not) to a much-loved country favourites. 🎤🤠

✨ A MAGIC MOMENT! 🏊‍♀️💚

Last week, our Lifestyle Assistant and resident visited Brio Ellesmere Port to see if getting back into the pool could be an option.

Yesterday, they went back through those doors and it happened!

Our resident has always loved swimming and, after some time away from the pool, we believe the things we love should continue wherever possible.

Along with a carer, they headed off for a swim and what a moment it was! 🥹

A huge thank you to the amazing team at Brio Ellesmere Port, special shout out to Megan, who from our very first visit were so helpful and accommodating. With the right equipment, teamwork and a “let’s make it happen” attitude, we did it!

Sometimes it’s more than just a swim it’s about choice, happiness and making memories. ✨
