Sophie has always had a passion for fashion illustration, she was given a stencil sketchbook when she was little and used to love creating different combinations, adding glitter and going crazy with the numerous different outfits! She studied Art and Design at college where her 2 biggest inspirations were flowers (following in her Gran’s footsteps!) and using mixed media to make fashion art. At un
iversity she studied surface design and printed textiles where her main focus was creating patterns with florals, focusing on the delicacy of linework and pops of colour. A few years after graduating she reignited her passion for fashion illustrating. Initially through abstract sketches (known as ‘little ladies’) and has now developed into her own style to create bespoke illustrations of the wedding party, bride and groom and guests.
