We had a riot at the Dementia Bowling today at the Sports and Social Club Emsworth.
30 degree heat didn’t stop us from playing some bowls, dancing to Marcus’s boogie-woogie on the piano and a proper laugh.
Free refreshments and a whole lot of fun.

What a fantastic time we had at our Dementia Bowling at Emsworth Sports and Social Club.
Out on the lawn for the first time this year.

It’s a regular event for those living with dementia. The first and third Monday of the month at 3pm.

It’s free to attend, very relaxed with no equipment needed and soft drinks and refreshments provided.

What a triumph!
Yesterday’s launch of Emsworth’s first ‘Forget me Not’ dementia cinema was wonderful.
A packed house with many dressed in ABBA sparkles and dancing in the aisles.

Regular showings will take place at the Emsworth Community Centre on the last Friday of the month.
Next event is on Friday 29th May at 1.30 pm

I am delighted to announce that from April 1st Sage House will be running its community outreach programme in Emsworth at the Sports and Social Club every Wed afternoon.
This is a big step forward in supporting people living with dementia in the Emsworth community.
