WHAT ONE WEEK OF HEALING LOOkS LIKE.

Diathermy healing- What to expect.

Worried about what your skin will look like after diathermy?
Here’s a real example from just ONE WEEK after treatment.

This client had a seborrhoeic keratosis removed from the face using diathermy.

The healing process is completely normal:

🤍 Initially: the treated area forms a small scab as the skin heals.
🤍 As the scab naturally comes away: you may be left with some pinkness underneath.
🤍 Over time: the pinkness gradually settles as the skin continues to heal.

The most important thing is DON’T pick or pull the scab — let it come away naturally and follow your aftercare advice.

And this is why I always show my clients the real healing process, not just the finished result. ❤️

I’m so pleased to share that today I have successfully completed the MASCED (Melanoma and Skin Cancer Early Detection) Accreditation Programme. 🤍

This is something I feel is incredibly important alongside my advanced blemish removal training.

Before & 6 Weeks After ✨

This client came to me with a deeply pigmented lesion that had been checked by their GP and confirmed as benign, making it suitable for treatment.

After just one treatment and 6 weeks of healing, you can already see a significant improvement:

✔️ The deep pigmentation has lightened considerably.
✔️ The hard keratinised crust has been successfully removed.
✔️ The area has healed beautifully, with the skin continuing to remodel over the coming weeks.

Back with another Seb K removal 😃.

My client kept picking at this and she hated the way it looked. After clearance from her GP we went ahead and removed this quickly and safely using diathermy. It’s still in the healing stage but looking 100 times better.
