Our management have been to the Huntington’s Disease Association Awards today after Boldmere Court was nominated in the category of excellence in health and social care. We didn’t win this time but we were the only care home recognised. So this certificate is for OUR WONDERFULL STAFF for all the hardwork you do looking after our residents with Huntington’s. Well-done guys ❤️

⭐ Dementia Care Awards – Shortlist Highlight ⭐

We are delighted to shine a spotlight on Paul Vidal from Boldmere Court Care Home, who has been shortlisted for the Care Worker of the Year Award at the Dementia Care Awards.

Paul is a dedicated care professional with more than 18 years of experience in the care sector and has spent the last seven years at Boldmere Court, working as both a Trainer and Medication Technician. His passion for delivering exceptional dementia care, combined with his commitment to personal and professional development, makes him a truly deserving finalist.

Currently studying towards an Adult Nursing degree, Paul is a strong advocate for the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of people living with dementia. He is committed to ensuring every resident receives compassionate, person-centred care that respects their individuality and promotes the highest quality of life.

What Paul enjoys most about his role is making a meaningful difference to residents' lives and supporting their families through every stage of their journey. His kindness, professionalism, and dedication are evident in the relationships he builds and the positive impact he has on those around him.

Paul is proud to be part of such a welcoming and caring home environment and embraces every opportunity to learn, develop, and grow within his role. His commitment to excellence is an inspiration to colleagues and residents alike.

We would like to wish Paul the very best of luck at the Dementia Care Awards later this month. Being shortlisted is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the dedication, compassion, and commitment he brings to dementia care every day.

ON FRIDAY 29TH WE HAD A LOVELY BBQ AND SINGER WITH OUR RESIDENTS AND FAMILIES

Our new young singer was so interactive and the residents really enjoyed themselves
Our nick was on the bbq serving some lovely food
Our activities did a lovely job decorating the garden
