I am a Registered Nurse Prescriber and aesthetic specialist PgCert(Aes) with a passion for injectable treatments and cosmetic dermatology. I registered as a nurse (RGN) in 1990 and am an Independent Nurse Prescriber registered with the Royal College of Nursing the Nursing and Midwifery Council and accredited with Save Face, a Professional Standards Authority. Following the completion of my BA (Hons), I began my aesthetic nursing journey 6 years ago and have since achieved a Masters Level in Aesthetic Medicine with Harley Academy, London. I am also a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses, the British Dermatological Nursing Group, the Aesthetics Complications Expert Group and am fully insured with Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance.

If I could sit down with the younger version of myself before I started my career in medical aesthetics, these are the things I’d tell her…

Not because I know every answer - but because every client, training course and year in this industry has taught me something new.

Medical aesthetics isn’t just about learning how to perform treatments. It’s about understanding anatomy, listening to your patients, knowing when to say no, and never believing you’ve finished learning.

The industry is constantly evolving, and that’s exactly why I continue to invest in training, education and evidence-based practice. My clients deserve nothing less.

To anyone starting their journey in aesthetics: stay curious and always put your patients before the procedure.
