We are looking forward to our first training session for the GIVE Project tomorrow!

The GIVE Project is a 6-month programme designed to support young people aged 16-25 to gain real work experience, grow in confidence, and work towards a recognised volunteer award.

As part of the GIVE Project, young people will:
Attend a volunteer placement tailored to their interests (includes help finding placements & 1:1 mentor support)
Gain an accredited ’Community Volunteer Award’ by completing units designed to give new skills and confidence
Receive training, support & guidance throughout the 6 month programme

Had an amazing time on Friday with our SMILE group - Bowling and a burger, lots of socialising and having fun! In fact, so much fun was had, that we forgot to get any pictures until the last ball was about to be bowled 🤦‍♂️🎳

Don't forget we have our open events tomorrow (saturday 7th) for the GIVE Volunteering project! Come along, meet the team, and find out more about our upcoming volunteering project! Drop in to meet local organisations, explore opportunities, and find out how the GIVE Project can support you to volunteer over 6 months and gain a recognised Community Volunteer Award.

We are spending the morning in Ilfracombe at the Lantern from 9-12, then moving to The Brew House in Barnstaple from 1-4, so come along and say hi!
