Dont’ be scared !- It’s okay to be scared, I am right here.
You should know better! - let’s talk about what we could do differently next time.
That’s not a big deal! - this feels like a big deal to you, would you like to talk about it?

The gap can feel stressful - it can cause the feeling of ‘what’s the point of parenting’ and cause disconnection between us between them and us. A low demand approach was only ever meant to bring us to equal ground not further than - links in bio for family support session to hear behavioural strategies that bring families to equal ground. I have 3 children with PDA but have also worked with many families with PDA children and teenagers 💕
