What a fantastic day at Hawkinge House 15 yearCelebration! ☀️🎉

We were delighted to welcome so many residents, families, friends, and members of the local community to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon in the sunshine. There was something for everyone, from colourful face painting and an exciting penalty shoot-out to a bouncy castle that kept our younger visitors entertained and over £500 raised for Air Ambulance!

Guests enjoyed a delicious BBQ, tempting treats from our cake sale, and beautiful plants available at our plant sale. The bottle barrel raffle created plenty of excitement, while our "Guess the Teddy's Name" and "How Heavy is the Cake?" competitions had everyone putting their thinking caps on!

The lovely weather made the day even more special, creating the perfect atmosphere for laughter, conversation, and making wonderful memories together. Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make our Summer Celebration such a great success. We look forward to seeing you all again next year! 🌻🍰🌭

🎉 Hawkinge House Turns 15! 🎉

This year marks 15 wonderful years of Hawkinge House serving our community, supporting families, and creating a place that residents are proud to call home.

To celebrate this special milestone, we're hosting a Summer Garden Party and we'd love for you to join us! ☀️🌻🎈

There will be plenty of fun, refreshments, entertainment, and an opportunity to celebrate this fantastic achievement with residents, relatives, staff, and friends of Hawkinge House.

We look forward to celebrating with you all and thanking everyone who has been part of our journey over the last 15 years! ❤️

Yesterday, a fantastic team of our wonderful staff from Hawkinge House took part in the Folkestone Race for Life in support of Cancer Research UK.

With participants of all abilities, it was inspiring to see everyone taking on the challenge in their own way – from those racing across the finish line to those enjoying a more leisurely pace. We even had one team member achieve a personal milestone by running further than they ever have before!

Together, the Hawkinge House team has raised over £1,500 so far, and we couldn't be prouder of everyone's effort, determination, and support for such an important cause.

Happy Carers Week🩵

This week, we celebrate the extraordinary people who make our homes feel like home.

To all the incredible carers across Hartford Care, thank you. Thank you for the kindness you show, the comfort you bring, and the genuine relationships you build with our residents each and every day.

Being a carer is about so much more than supporting daily life. It's about holding a hand when it's needed most, sharing a laugh, listening to cherished stories, and creating moments that make someone feel seen, valued, and loved. It's the familiar face that brings reassurance, the warm smile that brightens a day, and the compassion that turns a house into a home.

What makes Hartford Care so special is the connection our carers build - not only with our residents, but with one another. Together, they create communities filled with warmth, friendship, dignity and belonging.

This video is a celebration of just some of the amazing care teams across our homes. While not every home is featured, every single carer is appreciated and recognised for the difference they make in the lives of our residents and their families.

We were delighted to welcome our local MP, Sojan Joseph, to Hawkinge House today.

During his visit, we had the opportunity to showcase the services we provide to our residents and the wider community, as well as discuss the important work we do in partnership with the NHS and local social services.

It was a pleasure to share how our dedicated team supports individuals and families across the area, helping to deliver high-quality care and promote wellbeing within our community.

Thank you to Sojan for taking the time to visit us and learn more about the work we do at Hawkinge House.
