In the moments after watching the 100% Solar eclipse in Spain, I was lucky enough to receive a reiki blessing from my dear friend Cassandra Glowacka of the The Green Well šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§,

Even more special was the fact this was carried out whilst we both stood barefoot on a beautiful large natural rock with quartz crystal veins running through it; Quartz being the Master Healer. It was never by chance that I ended up with some of my dearest friends, on a random beach in Valencia to watch the eclipse, with a large natural quartz rock embedded in the stone jetty that pointed in to the sea like an arrow pointing the way, this was was always the way, I just didn’t know it until I was there.

Isn’t the universe just beautifully clever at putting us where we need to be, when we need to be there?

We had such a beautiful day in the sunshine last Saturday in the stunning venue and grounds at for Retreat Day!

Pilates with Harri, followed by Wim Hof Breathwork and an Ice Bath with moi a River swim and Sauna, 3 course Mezze lunch stunningly prepared by .ginger.food and finishing with a Soundbath by the one and only who has spent almost as much time in my ice bath as the ducks!

This video is just a little snippet of the halfway point Ice Bath section of the retreat… by the end of the day those smiles were doubled!

The greatest journey isn’t through time…
It’s back to yourself.

And for me the Ice Bath has always been a place where I am 100% in the NOW, my thoughts aren’t in the past or in the future, and any thoughts I do have that aren’t in the ā€˜NOW’ are on pause.

This pause, this beautiful pause creates a space to come back to myself, to reset, regather and recharge.

And I’m stronger for it, physically and mentally, I’m healthier and i’m happier.

The Ice Bath gives me back Time, my own personal Time Machine.. and nothing gives me greater joy than sharing my Time Machine with you all ā¤ļøšŸ§Š

As part of our Half Term fun, Me, my Wife and our Girls went to the .experience in Birmingham. I’ve been a big fan of the show as a kid and love the reboot which we watch as a family each series… so when they advertised the chance to go and try out a selection of the challenges from the show, we jumped at the chance… and it did not disappoint! Watching my kids confidently trying all the challenges and smashing the junior eliminator was amazing! Watching my Wife smash the adult eliminator was inspiring and a little emotional for reasons I’m not going to go into. And to race my eldest daughter on the adult eliminator (because of course she wanted to do the adult one too) was an absolute highlight which had adult me and child me screaming internally (and maybe a little externally) with excitement!! It’s on until the end of August šŸ’ŖšŸ»šŸ™ŒšŸ»ā˜ŗļø

160KG Dentist Chair āœ…
Mount Snowdon āœ…
Carry the Chair to the Summit and back down again āœ…
Guinness World Record - šŸ¤žšŸ»

Last week on Friday May 15th I stood in a car park at the base of Mount Snowdon in Wales, 5.30am and daylight starting to seep across the sky. The atmosphere was calm with an edge of nervousness and excitement as the Dental Chair, Sully, was unloaded from the back of a white van.

After a brief sense check that we had everything, a safety briefing and a few moments to gather ourselves the challenge began, 1 mission - carry a 160KG Dentist Chair to the top of Mount Snowdon and back down again to raise money for and in the process, try and set a Guinness World Record.

As a team we took it in turns to carry the Chair, slow and steady, to the top of the mountain, some parts of the mountain path were merely difficult, some parts had me questioning my life choices, but the whole experience was an exceptional display of team work, from those of us carrying, to those clearing a path, pointing out when the incline got steep, large rocks or loose gravel underfoot, to those providing encouragement and companionship on what was a long, tough climb. We reached the Summit with such a sense of achievement as a group and the realisation it took the whole group to get that chair to the top, not just those carrying the weight.

So a little like life right? You don’t need to take someone’s weight from them to help; there are many many other ways you can lighten their load.

So that’s my ask of you if you’ve read this far - and well done if you have 🤣- just show a little kindness to others, offer encouragement, complement each other, smile, always smile and don’t be afraid to ask a stranger if they are ok if your instincts tell you they aren’t, they may just be having an off day, it may be more, it may be nothing, but someone checking in is all it takes to turn it around for them. ā¤ļø

Yoga, Breath, Ice, Fire & Sunset

Join us by the sea for a special Flower Moon gathering as we move through an afternoon and evening of yoga, breathwork, cold water immersion, sauna ritual and quiet connection at sunset.

The Flower Moon marks the point in the year when spring is in full bloom and the landscape is alive with growth. It’s a time associated with renewal, expansion and stepping forward with fresh energy after the stillness of winter. As the sun lowers over the Solent and the moon begins its slow rise, we’ll take time to pause and tune into the natural shift of the seasons.

Together we’ll move through the elements; breath, cold water, warmth and open sky, allowing the body and mind to reset while the day transitions gently into evening.

Book your spot to join us - https://www.theyogacoffeeclub.co.uk/events/seriously-chilled-flower-moon-edition
