Get your car gleaming and support three great causes! 🚗🧽💦

Eilean Dubh is getting involved in the Big Parklands Charity Challenge with a fundraising car wash at our care home in Fortrose.

All money raised will support our three charity partners: Highland Hospice, Mikeysline and Feeling Blue.

We’re recruiting Relief Care Assistants to work days and/or nights as required, helping us make every moment count for our residents.

No previous care experience is necessary. What matters is a caring approach, good communication skills and a willingness to learn. We’ll provide the training and support you need to thrive.

You’ll be joining an award-winning team at Eilean Dubh, named Scotland’s Regional Care Home of the Year in 2025.

🎶🌸 It’s been a busy time at Eilean Dubh! 🌸🎶

We’ve been having far too much fun lately! 😂❤️

we were delighted to welcome the lovely Margo, who had our residents singing, dancing and enjoying some fabulous live music. 🎤💃 There’s nothing quite like music to get everyone joining in!

Yesterday morning brought our coffee morning and flower arranging, with plenty of chat, laughter and some beautiful fresh flowers being arranged. 🌷☕️

And then came our cheese and wine tasting afternoon and whist drive 🧀🍷

Unfortunately, we were so busy enjoying ourselves that we completely forgot to take photos… but we can confirm the cheese, wine and good company all went down a treat! 😋😂

Busy days, happy hearts and lots of lovely memories being made at Eilean Dubh. ❤️

🌞🚶‍♀️ A Lovely Morning Walk at Eilean Dubh! 🚶‍♂️🌿

What a lovely morning we had today! The sun came out to join us for our weekly walk around Fortrose. ☀️ Although it was a little blustery and windy, it certainly didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves!

A huge thank you to all the wonderful family members and volunteers who came along to help and support us in getting our residents out and about. ❤️ And of course, a big thank you to the staff who joined us too — your support means so much.

There was a lovely atmosphere when we arrived back at Eilean Dubh, with everyone meeting up in the foyer for a well-deserved cup of tea or coffee ☕️ and a good old chat. It was so lovely seeing residents, families and staff all together, sharing stories and enjoying each other’s company.

Days like today are what our walking group is all about — fresh air, friendship, laughter and making memories together. 💕🌿

Throughout September, residents and colleagues across Parklands will be taking on a range of challenges and activities to raise funds for our three charity partners: Highland Hospice, Mikeysline and Feeling Blue.

🚶‍♀️🌿 Our Walking Group Has Begun! 🌿🚶‍♂️

What a lovely success our first walking group was today! 💕 It was fantastic to see so many families and staff getting involved and helping our residents get out and about, enjoying the fresh air and exploring our beautiful local area around Fortrose

There were lots of smiles, chats and happy faces along the way, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made our first walk so special. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again!
