In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Five Elements represent the natural balance of our body, mind and emotions. By stimulating specific acupressure points, we can support the body’s natural healing and restore harmony.

🌱 Wood (Liver) – Liver 3
Supports the smooth flow of Liver Qi, relieves stress, and promotes emotional balance.

🔥 Fire (Heart) – Heart 7 & Heart Protector 6
Calms the mind, eases anxiety, and supports better sleep.

🌎 Earth (Spleen) – Stomach 36 & Spleen 6
Boosts energy, strengthens digestion, and nourishes Ki and Blood.

🌬️ Metal (Lung) – Lung 9
Supports healthy breathing, strengthens Lung Qi, and boosts immunity.

💧 Water (Kidney) – Kidney 3 & Kidney 1
Nourishes Kidney energy, promotes vitality, and helps restore deep, restful sleep.

✨ Small acupressure points can make a big difference. Consistent acupressure or receiving Shiatsu can help you feel more balanced, energised and resilient.

We will be giving Shiatsu, Energy Healing and Qigong sessions over the two days and Crockett will be sharing his Energy Hygiene Workshop as well. We are so looking forward to the weekend of meditation, coastal walks and good food. I will try to remember to take photos as I always forget to do that. x

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, summer is associated with the Fire phase or element. The Heart is the organ associated with this season and is believed to govern emotions such as joy and happiness. The tongue is considered the outward expression of the Heart, while the face is described as its “flower,” reflecting its vitality and spirit. During summer, nurture your Heart by smiling often, cultivating kind thoughts, and embracing moments of genuine joy and connection.

PCOS has a new name, PMOS. Published recently in The Lancet.
The old name was always wrong. Those cysts were never cysts. And this condition was never just an o***y problem. The real problem was always metabolic, hormonal and systemic. In Chinese medicine we have always known this. We treat the pattern behind it, not the organ showing the symptoms.
The ovaries are not the problem. They are the messenger.

A useful PMOS Lab Guide written by Acupuncturist Dr. Lee which explains what to ask for, what it means and what Chinese medicine sees that labs miss. Read more here and get the free download from my website.
