🩺 RSV Vaccination Clinic – Thursday 13th August 2026

We have RSV vaccination clinics taking place on the morning of Thursday 13th August 2026 at our Framwellgate Moor and Gilesgate sites.

📱 If you’ve received a text message letting you know you’re eligible for the RSV vaccine, please use the booking link provided or call the surgery and speak to our reception team to book your appointment.

What is RSV?
🦠 Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common virus that usually causes coughs and colds, but it can lead to serious lung infections such as pneumonia in older adults and vulnerable people.

Why get vaccinated?
💙 The RSV vaccine helps protect against severe illness, reducing the risk of hospital admission and serious complications.

Hi
My name is Kirsty and I will be the Practice Nurse running our next walk in smear clinic at Ushaw Moor Surgery. The clinic is available for all lady's whose smear is due, you have had your invite letter and you are registered at one of our 5 surgery sites at The Medical Group. Our sites include:
💗Meadowfield
💗Esh Winning
💗Langley Park
💗Tow Law
💗Ushaw Moor
You will be greeted on reception by Michelle and Karan. You don't need an appointment, you just need to turn up between the above times. We hope to see you all there 🙂

Please note - If the clinic reaches full capacity it will unfortunately finish earlier than planned to ensure the nurse can continue safely. This will be reviewed by the Practice Nurse on the day depending on the time and how many patients she has still waiting to be seen already in the waiting room.
