Families travel hours to work with me.

Birth With You supports women across the world.

Next week I’m filming with ITV.

And next Saturday, I’m teaching birth prep in Lytham.

A handful of spaces remain.

DM LYTHAM if one of them has your name on it. ✨🤰🏻

1. Put your tens machine on in early labour (not at the end). This helps to build up your natural pain threshold and releases natural pain relieving endorphins, that match the intensity of your contractions over time. 🔥
2. Know biomechanics positions to help your baby travel through the pelvis as easily as possible. Practising these throughout pregnancy will help baby get in a beautiful head down position too.
3. If you’re leaving home to give birth elsewhere, have a plan to keep your hormones happy. Eye mask, aromatherapy, headphones etc. Oh and have an idea of where you can dump your car if the parking is a nightmare. If you get a fine, it will be absolutely worth it. 🤭
4. Know your shizzle! How to navigate hospital policy and get the best out of the NHS. If you haven’t hired a doula, make sure you’re confident speaking up, saying what you need and not settling for anything less than you deserve. 🏥
5. If you’re not in labour yet? Your body and your baby aren’t ready. Chill out, have a magnum in the garden and soak up the before time. Your baby could come any moment and that’s so exciting, enjoy the journey and trust the process! 🍦

Doula and birth prep availability🤰🏻✨

A little availability update because the second half of 2026 is filling up far quicker than I expected.

I’m Eleanor, a doula, birth educator, trauma practitioner and the founder of Birth With Choice. I’m actively recommended by midwives across the UK as the birth prep that actually prepares you for the NHS, with my online course, Birth With You supporting families all over the world.

I’ve supported hundreds of families in Lancashire through pregnancy, birth and beyond; helping women understand their options, navigate the NHS system and feel genuinely involved in the decisions being made about their bodies and babies.

My version of birth preparation isn’t just breathing techniques and positive affirmations.

It’s understanding induction.
Understanding your rights.
Understanding risk.
Understanding what to do when you’re sat in an appointment, you’re 41 weeks pregnant and you’re told you can’t go to the birth centre anymore.

It’s preparing for the birth you’re actually having.
Not the one you hope you’ll have.

Since I’ve opened my Doula doors, more families are booking support earlier in pregnancy than ever before, here’s my current availability:

The biggest compliment I receive is that families leave feeling calmer, more informed and more confident than they ever thought possible.

Not because I tell them what decisions to make.

Because I teach them how to make decisions for themselves.

If you’re pregnant and know your birth is too important to just wing it, now is a good time to get in touch.

Let’s talk birth balls first. Stop bouncing on them like you’re about to take off. It’s doing absolutely nothing. Figures of eight and pelvic tilts are where it’s at - you’re trying to encourage your baby into a good position, not audition for a trampoline park.

Biomechanics is something I genuinely cannot stop talking about. Knowing the positions and movements that can help get your baby into a better position before and during labour is one of the most underrated things you can do to prepare. The kind of thing that could help you dodge an assisted birth. And yet almost nobody covers it in antenatal prep.

You’re at a desk all day pleaseeee just take a birth ball into the office. Sit on it instead of your chair. Your pelvis will be in a much better position and your colleagues will absolutely ask questions which is honestly a bonus.

Having an epidural? Amazing, that’s completely your choice. But have you bought a peanut ball yet? If you’re going to be lying down then give your body and your baby a helping hand. A peanut ball can make a real difference to how labour progresses even when you can’t move freely.

And finally, your sofa. Your beautiful, comfortable, sink-right-into-it sofa is not your friend in the third trimester. Every time you sit with your knees higher than your hips you are inviting your baby to get cosy in a position that is not ideal for either of you. perch on the edge. knees below hips. Or just get on the birth ball. your back will thank you and so will your baby.

This is exactly the kind of thing we cover in person on a group course. Knowing this stuff before you’re 38 weeks wondering why baby hasn’t engaged yet is so much more useful than knowing it after.

Oh and don’t have a birth ball, has got you covered ✨

You’ve got your heart set on the birth centre
and somewhere in the back of your head there’s a quiet voice that keeps saying, but what if they won’t let me!?!?

There’s a version of your pregnancy where you book a doula early.

We spend months getting to know each other through antenatal sessions, voicenotes and the quiet moments where we just sit and have a tea together on your sofa.

You message me for the big questions and all the little ones that you’ve hugely overthought.

You’re not relying on ChatGPT to give you the confidence you need to give birth on your terms.

You’ve sourced that yourself in the form of a doula who will big you up, hold you up and remind you how capable you are when you need it most.

You know that how you feel about your birth is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your baby.

So you make it happen. ❤️✨🙌🏻
