I know what you’re actually dreading, by the way. It isn’t your birth. You haven’t had it yet, you don’t actually know what it’s going to be like.

You’re dreading a story that isn’t even yours. Every “ohhh, just you wait.” Every horror story a stranger felt entitled to hand you the second you mentioned you were pregnant. Every 11pm scroll through someone else’s trauma, dressed up as research.

None of it belongs to you. You’ve just been collecting it like it does.

Here’s the other side of putting it down.

You get to 38 weeks and someone launches into their horror story, and it just bounces off you. You know what your body’s about to do, and why, so completely it’s stopped being frightening and started being kind of extraordinary. You walk into that room as the woman in charge, not because you got lucky, but because you decided this story was going to be yours before anyone else got the chance to write it for you.

That’s what five days does. That’s Ahead of the Bump.

Doors close Friday 11th September.

I mean they’re not wrong, but they’re also missing out the fact you won’t be anywhere near prepared enough if you want a good birth experience.

Ahead of the Bump is open to everyone who’s pregnant but I’ll be honest you’re going to get the most out of it if you join anytime between seeing 2 pink lines and your 20 week scan.

This isn’t birth prep. This is the step most women skip. The deep mindset work that puts you in the best possible position to go on and have the birth you want.

Audio up! 🔊
When I was told “we need to take you to theatre to have your baby in 30 minutes,” I didn’t have time to process, plan, or Google a single thing.

I went from sitting in a waiting room eating an M&S cookie, to calling my mum to tell her there were fish fingers in the freezer for my toddler, to meeting my baby in under half an hour. If preparation meant having weeks of notice, I’d have had zero.

But I’d already done the work before I needed it, months in advance, from that first pang of first trimester anxiety to be precise.

I’d already made peace with not controlling the whole plan, and controlling what I could. So when plans changed fast, I turned to my husband and said, “we’re having a baby!”

That’s the whole reason it wasn’t traumatic. Not luck, not weeks of warning, but because I prepared differently.

It’s exactly why I built Ahead of the Bump the way I did, to get your mindset in the right place from the very beginning, long before you think about where to give birth, what your choices are and pain relief.

I couldn’t control that I needed a very speedy c-section but I could control how mentally prepared I was for a moment like that.

I’m spilling my exact process so you can take control too.

Comment BUMP and I’ll send you the link before doors close Friday 11th September x

Some new and old faves 🤍

, I swear by this as being the most effective pain relief tool for birth. Perfect for working with your body from early labour all the way to meeting your baby. The longer you use it, the better it feels. Use code 10BWC to save.

Aura orbs by are my secret weapon. Perfect for using in the car, on a ball, or in the birth pool. Squeeze them for endorphin release, or use them for massage.

Calming Anchor, if you’re not spraying this every time you go to bed and in your birth space, you honestly don’t know what you’re missing.

Fairy lights and heated eye mask, just gorgeous relaxing vibes.

Rebozo, a scarf to shake and shimmy your pelvis with (watch my Bitesize video).

Cold towel, wet it and it goes cold, perfect for when things get intense.

These snacks from have me in a chokehold, love the salted dark chocolate almonds for mum too. Dark chocolate even releases endorphins!

electrolyte sachets, so much better than a Lucozade, packed for both me and mum to sip.

Doula bookings are almost full for 2026, and births booked in up to April 2027.

Book your connection call today, all the info is on my website ✨

This is *not* birth prep.
It’s everything you need to do first.
Say this with love, but we both know if you don’t do this with me, you’re never going to…
