Today we had our final 'Come Dine with Us' event. Over the last 5 months we have had a practice run then a full dining experience each month. Today went exceptionally well and the feedback from our lovely guests was fantastic! A very well done to all of our guys both in the kitchen (Billy, Brian, Matthew, Kenny & Juan) and on food service (Andrew & Siobhan). You all did an amazing job and should be so proud!! spend your tips wisely lol

This afternoon we continued with our work on the Community Centre gardens. Thanks to grants from Volunteering Matters Action Earth which help with filling all barrels around the building and lovely bedding plants and another grant on its way from West Dunbartonshire's 'Pride in place' which will provide us with funds to add lots of bark to the side garden. A very productive day with great results.

This morning we had another great session with Liz from TCV Scotland. Today we spent the morning at Auchnacraig doing some pond dipping. Everyone had a go at scooping up some pond life and then we examined what was in our nets. We were delighted to find all sorts of bugs including Dragonfly Larvae, tadpoles, and backswimmer bugs!
