Are you about to start HRT for the first time? Researchers at Brighton & Sussex Medical School are looking for females aged 40–60 to help them understand how Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) may influence memory and thinking.

The study involves online activities completed at home 3 times. The first study session must be completed BEFORE your first HRT dose.

By taking part, you'll help researchers better understand brain health during menopause.

71% of injuries occur when children are outside of school.

According to NICE guidance based on UK injury surveillance data:
Nearly 900,000 children under 15 attended hospital after an unintentional injury at home.

With children spending more time outdoors during the school holidays, the NHS is encouraging parents and carers to be prepared for common summer health issues such as sunburn, insect bites, minor injuries, hay fever, tummy bugs and dehydration.

Many of these can be managed through self-care, advice from a pharmacist or by using resources such as the NHS website and the NHS HANDi App – a free app that gives local advice and guidance on a range of common childhood illnesses.

🩺 If you’re away from home and need help from a GP practice, please call the practice you usually go to, rather than trying to contact a practice where you’re staying.
👍 Your own practice has all your medical records to hand and can help you by phone or online consultation. If you need prescription medication, your GP practice can arrange for it to be collected at a pharmacy close to where you’re staying.
