Today is Joseph of Arimathea’s Feast Day. A man who holds such an important place in the heart of Yeshua’s story and in the teachings they carried of love, peace and unity.
For me, Joseph also carries something deeply important for our time: the bringing forward of the feminine into the heart of humanity — an energy of love and peace, tenderness and strength, as we begin to move away from the old dominance of the masculine.
Joseph of Arimathea understood Yeshua as the Prophet of Love, the Emissary of Love, and Mary Magdalene as his counter-emissary of love.
But Mary Magdalene’s role was not for the Piscean Age. That was the role of Yeshua.
Mary Magdalene’s role is for the Aquarian Age.
This is an age of aligning ourselves with the Divine Feminine. And when I speak of the Divine Feminine, I do not simply mean goddesses, priestesses or women. Nor do I mean defining it through the pain women have suffered through the ignorance, abuse and confusion of the masculine.
I mean the Divine Feminine within the hearts of both men and women.
The principle of love, light, peace and harmony.
The old paradigm has been:
Fear. Control. Own.
The new paradigm is:
Love. Celebrate. Release.
That, to me, is the feminine way. The Divine Feminine way.
Over these next 2,000 years we will learn it, live it, embody it and transform through it. Two thousand years may sound like an enormous amount of time, but in the evolution of human consciousness it is very short.
Look at what humanity has experienced during the last 2,000 years through the vision of Yeshua and the teachings of Christ. Those teachings have repeatedly become caught within structures of control, while the feminine has continued to find her way back through the psyche, through the psychic and through spiritual movements.
We can see some of those seeds in the psychic circles and spiritual movements of the last 200 years, including the Theosophical Society. And more recently Mary Magdalene herself has come increasingly into the forefront of people’s consciousness.
For me, this is part of our movement into the Age of Aquarius.
And we are still only at the beginning.
We have so much to learn, so much to explore, so much to live and experience.
I believe the age that follows Aquarius will bring us more deeply into union, the embodiment and union of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine.
We are already talking about that union now, just as the family of Christ was speaking about Mary Magdalene and the feminine 2,000 years ago. We sow the seeds long before humanity is ready to fully live them.
Eventually, perhaps, we move beyond masculine and feminine altogether and into a state of union, a state of universal consciousness and truth. For me, this is part of what the Age of Capricorn will bring.
And perhaps our work now is already to begin sowing those seeds.
So happy, happy Joseph of Arimathea Day.
May his influence hold you, me and all of us as we make this journey into the Divine Feminine.
Knowing Mary Magdalene.
Knowing Mary the Mother.
Knowing Sophia.
Knowing the Shekinah.
Knowing that Divine Feminine energy that lives within the hearts of awakened and conscious men and women who are here now.
May that grandfather figure of Joseph of Arimathea help us and guide us through this journey, as we begin preparing the way towards a future state of union.
Love. Celebrate. Release.
