LAYING THE FLOORING

I went for a laminate wood effect for the flooring and with Trev's help we got this all done in a couple of hours.

THE FRONT DOOR

It's exciting to now be able to enter the container through the front door as opposed to the large doors at the end. And you'll see in the last photo that my home now has a set of keys! 🔑

I really wanted a stable door so bought one on ebay and painted it racing green.

Then we cut a hole in the side of the container and put the door in. Visually it makes a big difference as it starts to look less like a container and more like a home. 🏡

SHOWER ROOM

It's already starting to feel quite homely just for the fact there's a shower tray in it!

Our maybe I should say it's feeling less like a shipping container.

Either way, it's exciting to get to this stage so quickly.

STARTING WORK

The first job with the container was to sort out the rusty steel joists. We ground them out and replaced them with wooden ones. Then it was ready to replace the rotten floor boards.

What an experience yesterday was, I'm still buzzing! A range of emotions, the whole day was perfect from start to finish.

The jar of marmalade in the second photo really got me.

I also loved the reference to Diana in the third photo but I appreciate that won't be to everyone's taste!

GETTING THE CONTAINER

I managed to source a second hand shipping container at a good price near Manchester and the first step was to get it down to my mate's house near Coventry so we could renovate it.

It was a rainy day in Rochdale when the HIAB turned up and because of a parked car, we almost had to abort the mission!

Fortunately the driver used his experience to work round the car and he eventually got it on to the back of the lorry.

LIVES IN THE WILD

Having watched a lot of Lives in the Wild over the last couple of years, I've really developed a taste for off grid, natural living.

So I bought this hunk of scrap metal earlier in the year and with the help of my awesome mate I'm turning it into something special.

MONDAY PAY DAY

Every Monday is my first pay day of the week 💷💰

Yesterday I earned $362.38

My second weekly pay day is Thursday and I'm due over $2000 😳

I've got to make a lot of money in a short space of time so I'm very grateful I'm doing this. 🙏🏻😁

Exciting times ahead...

I met this guy yesterday who is a co-founder of a fantastic business I've recently got involved with.

I need to make a lot of money in a short space of time and I really believe I'll achieve that with this platform.

This is me getting out of my comfort zone - even posting stuff like this! But I've really got to up my game now.

If you want something you've never had, you've got to do something you've never done.
