Yesterday morning we enjoyed some colouring and puzzles, which sparked lots of lovely conversations. We then had plenty of fun playing Snakes and Ladders, with lots of laughter 🐍🪜

Yesterday we had lots of fun with some gentle movement to music using the Altra app!
We followed along with the movements and sang along to some great songs. There were lots of smiles and plenty of fun along the way 😊🎵

Last week, we made the most of the sunshine and spent some lovely time sitting out in the garden . It was a lovely way to enjoy the warm weather and spend some time outdoors together ☀️

On Friday, we had a fun-filled Family Sports Day with plenty of friendly competition, followed by a lovely BBQ. We had such a great morning with lots of laughter and everyone getting involved. It was lovely to see our residents, families and staff enjoying the day together 🏅🍔

We had an uplifting singalong session yesterday, with plenty of joining in, some dancing and a bit of foot tapping along the way. 🎶 A lovely afternoon at Brockworth. 💃

We enjoyed a gentle seated exercise session with Martha from G-Fitness this afternoon. It was a lovely way to keep active and get everyone moving 😊

This morning, our residents enjoyed a fun game of Bean Bag Target! There were plenty of happy smiles and lots of laughter as everyone encouraged and cheered each other on 😊

Yesterday at Brockworth House we celebrated our Staff Awards, and what a lovely day it was! Residents, staff, friends and family came together to celebrate everything that makes Ashberry Healthcare special: loyalty, integrity and compassion, with long-service achievements ranging from 3 to an incredible 25+ years 🏆🎉

Congratulations to our award winners: Ifeanyi U (Core Values), Wamila U (Employee of the Year), Wendy W (Wellbeing), Jessica L (Dementia Awareness), and Jessica W and Shania W, who received our brand new Above and Beyond (Resident-Nominated) Award.

We were also delighted to welcome the ladies from Sue Ryder, our chosen Charity of the Year. They shared the incredible work the charity does, and we were honoured to present them with a donation, and can't wait to continue supporting them.

Thank you, Brockworth team. Your hard work and care make this home what it is, and it doesn't go unnoticed 😊
