🐾 Cat Home Visits – Availability from September 🐾
As summer begins to draw to a close, I’ve been thinking about just how lovely it has been spending time with so many wonderful cats over the past few months. ❤️
I absolutely love caring for cats. There’s something about being in their company that is genuinely good for my soul. They bring such a sense of peace and calm, and sometimes sitting quietly with a cat feels almost like a little meditation in the middle of the day.
From September onwards, I have some availability to welcome new clients for my cat home visiting service.
Rather than the upheaval of going into a cattery, your cats can stay comfortable in their own home and familiar surroundings while you’re away. I can visit to provide their meals, fresh water, litter tray care, medication where required, and—most importantly—company and attention tailored to the individual cat. Some want a lap and a cuddle, some want to play, and others are happiest simply having someone quietly sharing their space. 🐈
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse and accredited animal trainer, I’m also able to offer additional support for cats with medical needs, older cats, and those who may be anxious or need a little more understanding.
A few of the cats I’ve cared for this summer have also had some behavioural difficulties that their guardians have wanted help with. Cat behaviour and welfare is something I can offer advice and support with too, whether that’s anxiety, changes within the home, toileting problems, introductions or simply trying to understand why your cat is behaving in a particular way.
If you’re planning a holiday or time away from September onwards and would prefer your cat to be cared for in the comfort of their own home, please feel free to message me for a chat.
🐾 Not just for holidays!
I’m also very happy to provide occasional pop-in visits if you’re going to be out for a long day and would like someone to call in, give your cat their meal, refresh their water or litter tray, administer medication if needed, or simply spend a little time keeping them company.
There’s no need to be a regular client — sometimes it’s just reassuring to know someone experienced is popping in to check that everything is okay. 🐈❤️
