Wildwood is my Cedarwood & Charcoal cold process soap bar, made on a traditional tallow base with coconut oil, shea butter, olive oil, jojoba and castor oil. The olive oil is infused with comfrey, and there’s a touch of arrowroot and zinc oxide for a silky, creamy bar with a gentle slip. Activated charcoal gives a deep smoky colour, while the blend of cedarwood, sandalwood and vetiver essential oils brings a grounded, woody aroma that feels earthy, steadying and quietly uplifting after a long day.

Cedarwood and vetiver are often chosen in aromatherapy for their deep, resinous, “rooted” scent notes, which many people find calming and centring in an end‑of‑day wash routine. Sandalwood adds a smoother, slightly creamy woodiness that softens the blend and gives Wildwood a classic, masculine feel without being harsh or overpowering.

Ember is a warm, spicy tallow soap made with the same rich base of beef tallow, coconut oil, shea butter, olive oil, jojoba and castor oil. The olive oil is again infused with comfrey, and the bar is coloured with cocoa powder, charcoal, yellow iron oxide and mica for ember‑like swirls. The essential oil blend of cinnamon leaf, clove bud and black pepper gives a cosy, fireside scent with gently spicy, aromatic notes that can make a simple shower feel a bit more like a comforting ritual.

That spice mix leans into warmth and energy in terms of its scent character – the clove and cinnamon bring a deep, almost nostalgic warmth, while black pepper adds a subtle brightness that stops it feeling heavy. It’s the kind of profile people often reach for in colder weather, or when they want a bar that smells “grown‑up” and distinctive.

To partner with them, a beautiful hydrating tallow & jojoba cream in 60 ml jars. It’s rich in tallow and jojoba oil, with added aloe vera, glycerin, emulsifying wax and a touch of vitamin E for a soft, nourishing texture. It sinks in nicely without feeling greasy, and I can create versions with matching scent families to pair with either Wildwood or Ember, so the cream echoes the same grounded woods or warm spice notes as the soap.

Align is a balancing bar with a luxurious, cushiony lather from tallow, mango butter, coconut, olive, castor and almond oils. Mango butter adds a rich but slightly “dry” silkiness, while almond and castor keep the bubbles soft and creamy. The olive oil in Align is infused with rosemary, so oil‑soluble compounds from the herb move into the oil first, adding a subtle green depth and reinforcing the herbal theme of the bar.
