Look at these two! It’s taken 7 weeks to get to this point. Maela’s new horse Indie was dangerously aggressive towards Poppy when I tried to introduce them and because of this, I was really scared to put her in with either Star or Jester. She’s also really aggressive around hay in the paddock. She kept breaking through the fence to get to the others and Star did a good job of protecting Poppy. I had a choice and I chose to listen to Indie and give her what she needed and that was a friend. She chose Jester and our groom captured this very special moment whilst we are away. No more aggression around hay or towards Jester. So happy 💕

There comes a moment when Jesus asks the question that changes everything:

“Will you follow Me?”

Not, Do you understand everything?
Not, Do you know where I am taking you?
Not even, Are you ready?

Simply: “Will you follow Me?”

And sometimes following Him means walking forward when there is no evidence that the road will work out.

It is hope against hope, choosing to believe when everything around you says there is no reason to believe.

It is surrender.

Like a seed placed into the darkness of the earth, we may think we are being buried when, in truth, God is planting something.

And perhaps that is why Jesus so often reveals Himself through the image of a gardener.

The gardener does not force the flower to bloom. He prepares the soil. He plants. He waters. He waits.

Sometimes God does the same with us.

We want Him to show us the finished garden, but He gives us a seed.

We want certainty, but He asks for trust.

We want to know the destination, but He asks us to take the next step.

“Follow Me.”

And so we surrender.

Not because we know what tomorrow holds, but because we know Who holds tomorrow.

Hope against hope.

Faith when the ground looks barren.

Trust when the seed is hidden.

And surrender when Jesus says:

“Come. Follow Me.”

Perhaps the greatest act of faith is not knowing where He is leading us.

It is believing that wherever He leads us, He will be there.

⛰️ WHAT IF THE MOUNTAIN ISN’T THERE TO BREAK YOU?

My husband is currently running UTMB — 174km, 10,000m of elevation gain, across three countries.

He’s trained for months. He has the kit, the nutrition, the strategy.

But at some point, none of that may feel like enough.

Because what happens when your body is exhausted?
When your mind says I can’t do this anymore?
When the mountain feels too big?

And isn’t that true of life too?

We can prepare. We can plan. We can do everything “right”, and still find ourselves facing mountains we never expected.

Grief. Loss. Heartbreak. Illness. Change. Uncertainty.

Maybe resilience isn’t about being strong enough to do it all alone.

Maybe sometimes it’s about taking one more step.

And sometimes, it’s about reaching out and saying,
“I need someone beside me.”

I’ve been reflecting on this in my latest blog:

💭 When Life Makes You Dig Deep

A reflection on resilience, difficult seasons, asking for support, and discovering strengths we didn’t know we had.

❤️ If life feels like a mountain right now, you don’t have to reach the summit today.

Just find the next step.

Just spoke to Rich and he is flying. As strong as an ox. He’s just had some bad blisters treated at Trient and on the move again. It’s been an incredibly challenging 15hrs. He felt incredibly nauseous at one point, and couldn’t eat for about 5 hrs but managed to work through it. Then over night at about 26 hours in, desperately needed sleep and couldn’t sleep and it was touch and go. Then he made a decision he wasn’t going to sleep and he was going to plough on and he brain at that point dumped a load of adrenaline and cortisol to bring him back to his senses and has been going strong ever since. Almost 33hrs without sleep. He now has just 2 more climbs and 3 more checkpoints before heading over the finish line about 12.20 CET. Insane. In awe of him and the strength of his mind.

The biggest race of Rich’s life. Think I’m more nervous than he is. See you at the finish line my love

Monday Mindset 🌱

Your thoughts influence your feelings.

Your feelings influence your actions.

Your actions shape your future.

If you've been stuck in the same emotional patterns, remember this: awareness is the first step towards change.

This week, notice how you speak to yourself.

Would you speak to someone you love the same way?

Be kind to yourself, you deserve the same compassion you so freely give to others.

💙 One small change today can make a big difference tomorrow.

🤖 Can ChatGPT replace therapy? What about faith?

As AI becomes part of everyday life, more people are turning to tools like ChatGPT for emotional support, advice and self reflection.

AI can be incredibly helpful, but can it replace the empathy, insight and human connection found in therapy?

And in a world where technology is always within reach, have we forgotten that many people also find strength, hope and guidance through their faith?

In my latest blog, I explore:
✨ What AI can and can't do
✨ Why therapy is about much more than advice
✨ The power of human connection in healing
✨ How faith, therapy and AI can each have a place in supporting our wellbeing

If you've ever wondered whether AI could replace therapy, or where faith fits into the conversation, I invite you to read the article.

📖 Read it here:

I'd love to hear your thoughts. How do you think AI is changing the way we seek support?

In recent years, millions of people have turned to AI tools such as ChatGPT for advice, emotional support and a space to process their thoughts. For many, it’s available at any time of the day, never judges, and responds instantly. It’s no surprise that people are beginning to ask whether AI can...

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Many of us feel called to serve others, but faith doesn't mean saying "yes" to every request or carrying every burden alone.

Throughout Scripture, we see that wisdom includes recognising our limits, seeking God's guidance, and trusting that we don't have to do everything ourselves. Even Jesus modelled healthy rhythms of prayer, rest, and intentional ministry.

If you've been feeling exhausted from constantly meeting everyone else's expectations, this blog offers a gentle reflection on how healthy boundaries can honour both God and the life He has entrusted to you.

We pray it encourages you to consider not just what you're capable of doing, but what God is actually calling you to do.

Read the blog here:

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."Proverbs 4:23

I'd love to hear your thoughts. How has your faith helped you discern when to say "yes" and when to say "no"?

There was a moment today when I had to stop and ask myself a difficult question.Just because I used to be able to… and just because I still can… does that really mean I should? If you’ve followed my journey, you’ll know I’m incredibly resilient. Life has thrown its fair share of challenges ...

🌊 What if the greatest rewards in life are found by going against the tide?

My latest blog explores the courage it takes to trust your inner guidance, overcome fear, and follow the path God has placed before you. Inspired by a deeply personal experience, it's a reflection on faith, healing, and finding the strength to live according to truth rather than expectation.

Going Against the Tide

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Have you ever felt called to take a path that others didn't understand?
