We breathe all day, every day. But how much do we actually know about it?
Since beginning my training in breathing and human performance, I’ve become fascinated by something most of us were never really taught:
There is a difference between breathing and breathing well.
Over the next few weeks I’m going to start sharing some of the science that changed the way I think about my own breathing — and how it can relate to things like focus, stress, recovery, sleep and physical performance.
Some of it is surprisingly simple.
Some of it challenged things I’d believed for years.
And some of it made me wonder why nobody had ever taught me this before.
These five cards are a good place to start 👆
I’m still learning, studying and developing More Performance Breathing, and that’s exactly what I want this page to be about — taking the science, making it understandable, and turning it into practical skills we can actually use.
Because breathing isn’t something I want people to become dependent on an instructor to do.
It’s something I want people to understand for themselves.
LEARN IT • FEEL IT • USE IT • OWN IT
Which of the five surprised you most?
