Bank holiday feast 🍗🥘🍚

Today the people we support enjoyed a delicious Chinese fakeaway – bringing all the flavours of a takeaway right to us! 😋🍜

From tasty chicken to plenty of rice and delicious sides, there was something for everyone to enjoy. 🥠🥢

Great food, good company and lots of smiles – what more could you ask for? ❤️

A fantastic afternoon spent together! 🥰✨

What a lovely day out staff had with the people we support!

It was wonderful to get out and about, enjoy some fresh air, have lots of laughs and make some great memories together. 😊

Days like this are all about choice, independence, friendship and having fun —

The people we support had a fantastic time enjoying a game of Bingo, with plenty of laughs and a little friendly competition along the way! 🥳

It was wonderful to see everyone cheering each other on and celebrating those winning numbers. 🏆👏

Today is National Oatcake Day!
No, not the crunchy ones found in the biscuit aisle but a proper Stokie oatcake!
So today, it's only right to treat the people we support with a good 'ode Stokie delicacy.
Nothing like an oatcake filled with breakfast delights. ..anything goes! Except sweet stuff. Never, ever sweet stuff.
As us Potters say “Oatcakes are proper bostin an' yow ay had a proper Stoke brekki till yow’ve had one with bacon and chayse, duck!'

🌞💧 Hot Weather & Hydration Station 💧🌞

The sunshine is here, and while we're enjoying the warmer weather, we're also making sure everyone stays safe, comfortable, and hydrated.

Our Hydration Station and Ice Lolly Trolley is fully stocked with cold drinks and ice pops, encouraging the people we support to drink and keep cool regularly throughout the day. Staying hydrated is especially important during periods of hot weather and can help prevent dehydration, fatigue, headaches, and heat-related illness.

Today we're reminding everyone to:
💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day
🍉 Enjoy hydrating snacks such as fruit
🧢 Wear suitable clothing and hats when outdoors
🌳 Take regular breaks in shaded or cool areas
☀️ Apply sunscreen and stay protected from the sun
