Patient announcement 📢

We are currently experiencing significant staffing pressures across Kilcreggan and Garelochhead Medical Practices.

To ensure we continue to provide a high level of care for our patients we are temporarily prioritising urgent appointments and other requests for appointments will be prioritised on a clinical basis by our staff.

Due to these staffing pressures there may be occasions when a practice may only be open for a half day and if you are unable to wait then you may be offered an appointment at the other site.

We will also share weekly updates on any changes to these arrangements via patient text message.

We apologise for any inconvenience these arrangements may cause and we appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to resolve our staffing issues.

Patient announcement 📢

Due to high levels of sickness in our team, Garelochhead Medical Practice will be closed from 1pm on Friday 12th June.

Phones will be answered and urgent medical care will be provided from the sister site in Kilcreggan.

Appointments will be available as usual in Garelochhead on Friday morning and if you need to be seen urgently in the afternoon you can be seen in Kilcreggan.

We are delighted to announce that Dr Turki Alhusaini was recently appointed on a permanent basis as the salaried General Practitioner (GP) for the Garelochhead and Kilcreggan GP practices.
